The petition encompasses the official complaint to the Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland KC about the illegality of Julius Maada Bio’s presidency in Sierra Leone among other heinous crimes. The London demonstration is one among many other protests being held simultaneously today. The United States, Norway, and Germany will also see massive protests by Sierra Leoneans for the same patriotic reasons to save Sierra Leone. It is championed by the APC/UKI branch in coordination with Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide CSLW.

The September 20 demonstrations will highlight Bio’s blatant undermining of the democratic processes in Sierra Leone that materialised during the ill-fated June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections clearly stolen by Maada Bio in connivance with the crook Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL Mr Mohamed Kenewui Konneh. The Diaspora will come out in full force apparently to undress the undemocratic tendencies of bad governance and inhuman treatment of compatriots back home by the violent state security of the corrupt SLPP regime of Julius Maada Bio.

Every patriot in the Diaspora will storm out on Wednesday to remind the world of the disaster in Sierra Leone under Maada Bio. The countries to host the September 20 Diaspora protestations include the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Norway, and Germany. Also, on September 25, 2023, more Diaspora demonstrations against the heinous crimes committed by Maada Bio’s violent SLPP regime will take place in Canada and in America once again. In the US, Sierra Leone protesters will march on to Congress to present their petition. It is going to be well-organised protests to be done on September 20, the historic date to expose the atrocities that had been committed and continue to be committed by Bio’s violent state security.

The simultaneous arrangement of these protests around the world on the same day against the totalitarianism of Maada Bio’s SLPP administration makes the September 20 protests unique and significant in the protection of democratic rule human rights and civil liberties in Sierra Leone. At the moment, there is no freedom, justice, unity, and development in Sierra Leone thanks to Bio’s misrule and calamity. In the United Kingdom on Wednesday, September 20, Sierra Leone protesters are poised to march on to the headquarters of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London where a petition complaint against the criminality of Maada Bio’s barbarism would be presented to the Commonwealth Secretary-General Lady Patricia Scotland KC.

Members of Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide, the People’s Power in Politics PPP and Love Salone Lef Bad Heart fame of Adebayor are calling on all patriotic Sierra Leoneans to join the marchers in England, America, Norway, and Germany in order to restore the people’s votes of June 24, 2023 elections in Sierra Leone stole by Maada Bio as well as the September 25 protests in Canada and the US.
