As far as patriotic Sierra Leoneans are concerned, including the few informed citizens who are aware of what is really happening behind the scenes diplomatically and politically, etc., there is nothing that would stop or derail the democratic transition process in the country.

There are, however, many gullible people who are presently feeling discouraged over the slowness of the restoration of democracy. It is understandable why they feel so disheartened because it has taken nearly two years and eight months since Julius and co stole the elections.

The disappointment is growing thanks to the useless mind games being played by the deceptive Bio presidency to divert attention from the Tripartite implementation. Sources close to the illegal Bio regime say eleven irrelevant political parties endorsed the appointment of Edmond Alpha. What a farce by the Bio regime using redundant and state-captured political parties as an excuse to legitimise the illegitimate Edmond Alpha.

Everyone, including the international community, knows that the so-called 11 parties are a gimmick intended to justify multi-party politics. When in actual fact, all the 11 parties named are in the pockets of Maada Bio, i.e. financed and remote-controlled by the SLPP regime.

Today, after June 24, 2023, elections, only two political parties have members of parliament in the House of Parliament. The two are the SLPP and the APC. None of these so-called political parties has even one parliamentarian. Why are there no current MPs from the eleven parties?

The answer is simple. They are all captured by Bio’s SLPP. Look at the sell-out parties thus: National Democratic Alliance NDA; Alliance Democratic Party ADP; National Grand Coalition NGC; United National People’s Party UNPP; People’s Democratic Party PDP. The other redundant political parties that endorsed the criminal Edmond Alpha include the Peace and Liberation Party PLP; Citizens Democratic Party CDP; Revolutionary United Front Party RUFP; People’s Movement for Democratic Change PMDC; and the Republic National Independent Party RNIP. These parties are all led by SLPP appointees, SLPP card carriers, and sympathisers.

One-party state in disguise! It is factual that these negative thoughts in the gullible citizens will fail because electoral justice cannot be stopped by anyone. Even the latest gimmick by the illegal President Julius to appoint Edmond Sylvester Alpha as Chief Returning Officer of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone, ECSL, will not stop the process.

Who doesn’t remember crooked Edmond Alpha when he stupidly tampered with the local election results in the north a few years ago? No one will forget how the unprofessional SLPP diehard Edmond Alpha changed the figures to aid his SLPP candidate. He added 100 ghost votes to the 49 votes to rob the APC party candidate.

As for the foolhardy inside the SLPP regime and the APC party who continue to accept that the June 24, 2023, elections will not count and that the Bio illegality will stay in power, they are making the saddest mistake. It is just a matter of time before restoration happens. The state capture of institutions like broadcast and print media houses has not helped in disseminating the true story. The AYVs, SLBCs of this world, are only spreading fake news to aid Bio. Poor journalism of hypocritical scale.

The silence of the Maada Bio media in Sierra Leone, including the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists, SLAJ, has exacerbated ignorance in the country. This is because there is a total news blackout in Sierra Leone today on electoral justice and the Tripartite story.

Luckily, Sierra Leoneans are getting authentic electoral justice news on audio by patriotic social media activists and a few newspapers online. That is why the gimmick on Edmond Alpha as ECSL boss will be short-lived because the President-Elect, Dr Samura Kamara, will take power soon. No one will derail the people’s mandate, thanks to global partners.
