Communique Chokes Bio’s Illegal Regime as SLPP Unable to Account for All the Detainees
Quick Summary
The inability of the illegitimate and unrecognised President Maada Bio’s junta regime to produce all detainees alive has choked the SLPP bandits.
It is an integral section of the disputed 3-day Dialogue that produced the controversial Communique which instructed the illegal Bio regime to release all political and electioneering detainees. This is a major stumbling block for Bio created one hundred per cent by the violent-oriented SLPP junta regime. The evil that Maada Bio concocted to eliminate many of the APC detainees and peaceful protesters since 2018 in various prisons has come now to bite the Bio presidency. Impeachable sources have intimated that many of those behind bars have been secretly killed by the brutal SLPP cannibals. One key demand in the Dialogue Communique is for all political detainees and protesters to be freed by Bio within a time frame. (Photo: International Community observed the signing of the Communique).
Not only had so many detained prisoners arrested during the many peaceful protests and during the electioneering periods been secretly killed by state security police and soldiers but most of the victims had been buried in mass graves around the country. Sources have also confirmed that most of the victims’ human organs like kidneys etc had been cannibalised by the Bio presidency and sold abroad for astronomical prices. The most painful part of this wicked episode is the fact that family members and friends of these victims are still kept in the dark about their whereabouts. The families do not know whether their loved ones are dead or alive. This is where the Bio presidency comes in and is forced to clear the air, thanks to Communique. Since April 4, 2018, when the barbaric Bio SLPP colony took power from President Ernest Koroma of the APC government, lots of innocent blood has sailed through the bridge in Sierra Leone without any justice for the victims and their bereaved families. From the notorious Pademba Road Prisons massacre in 2020 to the Makeni standby generator massacre, to the Lunsar, Mile 91, Tombo, Thonko Limba massacres etc., hundreds of innocent Sierra Leoneans were murdered by presidential guards. As of press time, the illegitimate Sierra Leone President has yet to address the nation on this issue and has so far failed to sympathise, or empathise with the bereaved families. It clearly shows that Maada Bio personally instructed his presidential guards to butcher innocent citizens to death.
The heinous human rights violations committed by the Bio presidency are the primary reasons why the recent Peace and Unity Dialogue held in Freetown observed by the African Union, ECOWAS the Commonwealth and other international observers, ordered the release of all political prisoners arrested for election purposes. The three-day controversial dialogue made it succinct that all citizens arrested before, during and after the June 24, 2023, chaotic elections stolen by Maada Bio in connivance with the criminal Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL chairman Mohamed Kenewui Konneh, must be released without delay among other demands forwarded by the APC delegation led by Dr Samura Kamara.

Signed by the APC party leader Dr Samura Kamara and seven other APC officials (one absconded) the SLPP representative David Sengeh and eight other SLPP officials on October 18, 2023, also appended their signatures. It was mandatory that all parties must respect the details enshrined in the Dialogue Communique. But sources close to the SLPP say, the Bio presidency is covertly irritated and uncomfortable over the release of all the detainees because they could not possibly and practically free all the APC detainees as they could not give correct accounts of them all. The reasons adduced are simple the Bio vandals had killed many of the detainees months ago and buried them in unmarked mass graves dotted around the capital city of Freetown and other provincial towns in the southeast, the strongholds of the SLPP regime..
Consequently, they could not account for all of them at this crucial time. Now that the APC party is calling on all Sierra Leoneans who have not seen their detained family members for so long to report to the APC offices to give their names, things are becoming even more complicated for Bio’s presidency. The international community is watching closely to know what is happening. This is a serious problem for the SLPP regime as many of the detainees had long been killed and buried in unknown areas without the consent of the family members. APC social media activists are also fervently appealing to all Sierra Leoneans who have had their loved ones arrested and detained by the SLPP police to go to APC offices to make their reports. The demands in the Dialogue Communique have plunged Maada Bio into trouble as many APC detainees are dead and could not be accounted for.

All the hullaballoo surrounding the Peace Dialogue is bad news for Maada Bio. The signatures of the representatives of the APC and SLPP are significant. As faith would have it, the signature of the document by Maada Bio is a serious commitment which means everything inside the document must be respected to the letter. This means among other obligations that all APC-elected Members of Parliament, Mayors, and Councillors and Chairpersons should take up their seats and work. Yesterday, many of these elected APC officials started taking the oath of office. The problem Maada Bio is facing now is that many of these detainees in various parts of the country are either dead or have been injected with poisonous substances to make them insane.

The Bio presidency never expected the international community to commit to freeing these APC detainees. But the Peace and Unity Dialogue witnessed by the AU, ECOWAS and Commonwealth has forced the Bio SLPP regime to do so. That is the dilemma Bio is facing. How has his violent regime produced all these detainees in the last five years? The main opposition led by Dr Samura Kamara who also appended his signature has instructed his officials to draft the names of those detained to be freed as demanded by the Dialogue Communique. This is the stumbling block Bio is facing, a real trap Maada has been entangled in. This is the reason why all true APC supporters should not be despondent about the Dialogue document.
