Illegal Maada Bio’s SLPP in Serious Trouble: US Launches Extra-Judicial Inquest for Killings Since 2018
Quick Summary
Justice is in the pipeline for all victims of the extra-judicial killings in Sierra Leone since April 4, 2018, when the violent-oriented Maada Bio took power.
This latest United States inquest into the summary executions of innocent Sierra Leoneans is quite different from the crimes against humanity charges being pursued by the International Criminal Court ICC against the barbaric Bio regime. Never in the history of Sierra Leone’s governance have so many innocent Sierra Leoneans lost their precious lives so mercilessly in the hands of the SLPP regime of blood-thirsty Maada Bio. In the last five years of the Bio presidential mayhem, nearly 1000 people have been summarily executed by Presidential Guards and security forces on the direct and indirect orders of Maada Bio and the top brass of the police and military forces. It was uplifting to hear that the United States government has launched an inquest to probe all extra-judicial killings since 2018. (Photo: US envoy flanked by APC hierarchy).
Even though the SLPP regime has deliberately and senselessly reduced the number of victims of extra-judicial killings to the tens, competent security and family sources have confirmed that hundreds of innocent citizens have been murdered extra-judicially by security forces since Maada Bio and his gang of SLPP bandits assumed State House on April 4, 2018. A few months into the presidency, Maada Bio’s irate and well-armed Kamajor militias dressed in police and military uniforms started unleashing rage and venom against citizens who were deemed to be members and supporters of the main opposition APC party. It was uplifting to hear that the United States government has launched an inquest to probe all extra-judicial killings since 2018.
In Kenema for instance, a stronghold of the SLPP party in the east of the country, many police officers and innocent citizens were beaten to death, and others burnt to death by dodgy SLPP thugs, with the full knowledge of the State House. Nothing tangible came out of it. No condemnations from the Bio regime were made. It clearly indicated that the Bio regime had endorsed the violence. In Kailahun District, another SLPP stronghold in the east, an innocent woman Madam Satta Lamin was gang raped by 10 SLPP thugs in 2018. Her only crime was because she supported the APC party. The bandits later wickedly inserted sand into her womb. Nothing came out of it. Even the so-called champion of female rights Fatima Jabbe Bio, Mob Justice First Lady, turned a blind eye. It was uplifting to hear that the United States government has launched an inquest to probe all extra-judicial killings since 2018. (Photo: Bio will face justice).

In 2020, the Bio presidency committed more extra-judicial killings. First, the gun-toting Presidential Guards stormed the Pademba Road Prisons in Freetown and shot death over three hundred inmates including a prison officer to death. Yet, SLPP officials recorded only 35 deaths in the prison chaos. Then came the Makeni massacre in 2020 when dozens of youths who protested against the removal of standby generators from their city were gunned down on the orders of the Resident Minister North Abu Abu Koroma. Nothing came out of it. Yet, Maada Bio allowed Abu Abu to continue as Minister. Not to mention the Lunsar, Tombo, Thonko Limba, and Mile 91 killings. It was uplifting to hear that the United States government has launched an inquest to probe all extra-judicial killings since 2018.
On August 10, 2022 peace protests called by the People’s Power in Politics PPP led by social media guru Adebayor, dozens of innocent protesters were murdered by state security, many right inside their homes in front of their family members. Bloodthirsty Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Lahai Lawrence Leema spearheaded these murders. Dozens were arrested and thrown into prisons nationwide. As of press time, no justice for these victims has been sought. Maada Bio has never publicly expressed sympathy or empathy for the bereaved families. No investigations have been launched ever since. That is why Sierra Leoneans have wholeheartedly welcomed the inquest set up by the United States government which is taking the lead in ensuring justice is done for the victims. Recently, US Ambassador Bryan David Hunt started visiting the provinces to get first-hand information on all the arson attacks, and extra-judicial killings under Maada Bio’s misrule. He visited Bo City where he saw the remains of the burnt office of the APC party and other areas. Political observers say the game is not over yet, as SLPP buffoons continue to believe. The game has reportedly just begun as the US and other international partners joined forces to investigate the mass murders of all the killings committed by the SLPP killers.
The illegal Sierra Leone President Maada Bio who stole the June 24, 2023 elections is under fire as the killings at Pademba Road Prison, Makeni, Lunsar, Tombo, Thonko Limba, Mile 91, and the massacre at the APC office are on the table. APC social media activists like Wilson Kay and Evangelist Samson were shot to death. APC Matron nurse Mahawa Dumbuya was gunned down inside the APC office in Freetown. White Boy, an APC supporter was also killed in front of the APC office. The recent tour of the burnt APC offices, and arson, in Bo by the US Envoy David Bryan Hunt is the continuation of first-hand information in this regard. It was uplifting to hear that the United States government has launched an inquest to probe all extra-judicial killings since 2018. This was confirmed by the Council Of APC Media Bloggers.
