The United States government was taken aback when Maada Bio lied about the U.S. role in the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections by accusing the Americans of interfering in the elections. “I disagree with the US request because I have never interfered with the work of the ECSL. Elections are always contentious issues everywhere in the world including the United States,” Maada Bio told the audience during his speech at Washington University. To crown Maada Bio’s arrogance and self-inflicting injury and shaming the country, the illegal Sierra Leone leader was seen lying publicly to the world when he addressed the General Assembly at the United Nations. Maada Bio said the June 24 elections were free, fair, and credible. He added that his SLPP government in the last five years has ushered in freedom, justice, and development including quality education and youth development. What a load of rubbish and misinformation. Pure white lies uttered by Maada Bio at the UN. For the handful of those at the UN conference who were not conversant with the real situation in Sierra Leone, Maada Bio’s lies could have impressed them. But not those who are aware of the abysmal situation in Sierra Leone, would clearly see the faux pas being uttered by Maada Bio, the fool liar. Bio’s foolish attack on the US government has not only prompted the total cancellations of US Visas in Sierra Leone, but his negative conduct in the US has brought shame to the country. Sierra Leone has now been blacklisted full-time by the United States government and other Western nations. This latest harsh development comes about following the poor statements uttered by the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio against the US government of President Joe Biden. At Washington University, his Alma Mater, Maada Bio speaking on both sides of his mouth landed himself not only in the pit but Maada Bio’s foolish statement has resulted in the US imposing a Travel Visa ban on Sierra Leone among others. The blacklist involves the issuance of US Visas to the people of Sierra Leone in its entirety. The withholding of MCC finances, World Bank finances, United Nations funds, DFID, etc. No exception this time around, unlike the earlier Travel ban sanctions which only affected SLPP government officials and their families. But because of the insulting remarks by Maada Bio Accusing the US of interfering in the June 24, 2023 elections, the Biden administration has reacted in thus harsh manner to teach the Bio presidency a bitter lesson.
