The Association of Sierra Leone Market Women for Electoral Justice (EJ), in its continued efforts to appreciate individuals who have contributed to the pursuit of electoral justice, paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Momoh Vandi, popularly known as the “Giant of the South East.”
According to the Association, Comrade Momoh Vandi has played a significant role in the campaign for electoral justice, standing firm through every challenge and demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the cause.
The Association further noted that although Comrade Vandi hails from the South East, his interest and engagement across other regions, including the North West, reflect his commitment to promoting national cohesion, unity, and political balance throughout Sierra Leone.
As a token of appreciation, the Market Women for Electoral Justice presented Comrade Vandi with gifts, including vegetables, fish, and fruit. They emphasised that his contributions toward the struggle for electoral justice will remain memorable and deserving of recognition.

The visit also marked the introduction of Comrade Vandi’s new slogan: “MOV, More Victory.” Derived from the acronym of his name, the slogan is intended to inspire supporters, with a call-and-response message: whenever “MOV” is mentioned, the response should be “More Victory.”
In his vote of thanks, Comrade Momoh Vandi expressed his gratitude to the Association for the thoughtful gesture. He encouraged those present to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and hopeful, assuring them that they were approaching the final stages of their journey and expressing confidence that victory would be achieved.
MOV, who has fought tooth and nail in the lion’s den (SLPP stronghold is the southeast) for EJ, further reassured the women that he will never forget them and his door is always open to everyone. The courtesy visit was mobilised by Chairlady Madam Saffinatu Kamara.
