What was the threat by the criminal APC leaders all about? It stemmed from the dubious appointment of the SLPP Chief Electoral Commissioner for Sierra Leone, ECSL, Edmond Sylvester Alpha. A few days after his appointment and approval, all hell broke loose, but these selfish crooks never stood up for the people’s mandate of the 2023 fraudulent elections.

It was an unsurprising APC press release that demanded 48 hours, effective Tuesday, February 24, for Bio to reverse the Edmond Alpha appointment or the boycott will be effected. Shocking as it was, the same APC parliamentarians sat on the endorsement panel to give the green light to Edmond Alpha’s appointment.

Now that they are penniless, a new threat has emerged. Inside APC sources say this latest threat is nothing more than asking the Bio regime to cough up more money for the corrupt APC idiots to abandon their threat. This is always the dirty strategy being applied by the APC leadership whenever they are broke.

SLPP insiders have intimated that the APC threat has been taken seriously, and that is why sickly Maada Bio, though he is out of the country for medical attention, is putting things in place to raise the 2.4 million dollars to bribe the crooked APC leadership to halt the 48-hour threat. But these selfish crooks never stood up for the people’s mandate of the 2023 fraudulent elections.

APC hypocrisy is clear. In the press release dated 24 February 2026, the corrupt APC National Advisory Council NAC expressed grave concern over the nomination of Edmond Alpha. That was after consulting its leadership and elected representatives.

The APC idiots described the proposed appointment of Edmond Alpha as ECSL Chairman as a direct violation of the Agreement for National Unity and an attempt to sidestep the Tripartite Agreement established after the disputed 2023 General Elections. Imagine this is the same Tripartite Agreement being betrayed by the APC leadership. Hypocrisy indeed.
