Late Aunty Lucy, as she is fondly known to Aunty Kadie Sesay of the UK, wife of Mr Alieu Sesay, was interred at the Murray Town Cemetery. She is the elder sister of the tireless electoral justice champion, the late Ali Yassin Jr., who sadly passed away in London on October 23, 2025.

The late Aunty Lucy Thomas, Nee Yassin, is survived by two children, Mr Tony Chidi Thomas and Madam Tonia Chidi Thomas. She is blessed with many grandchildren. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. (Photos: Late Mrs Lucy and her little brother Late Ali Yassin Jr. RIP).

Family sources say the late Mrs Lucy Thomas, Nee Yassin, the elder sister of the late Ali Yassin Junior, both came from the same mother and the same father. She reportedly died from a blood clot.
