ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!
Maada Bio is so afraid of the Senegalese leader that he has confessed to close allies that he fears President Faye because his Senegalese counterpart has a no-nonsense stance against dictators like Maada Bio. President Faye is a known democrat in Senegal and in Africa.
For three times now, Maada Bio has personally met with the Senegalese Head of State, Bassirou Faye. First time in Freetown and twice in Dakar, where the host could not give the guest total attention. Bio is therefore irritated and in a jitters whenever he thinks about President Faye.
Reports have further confirmed that during the closed-door meetings with President Faye, Maada Bio noticed that the Senegalese President did not give him the reassurance needed to boost his ego as ECOWAS chairman. Faye has rejected Bio’s ambition for a second term in a row.
In his face, President Faye insisted and told Maada Bio in the French language that when he receives the ECOWAS chair, he will sort out all the mess affecting member countries in ECOWAS that undermines constitutional rule and democratic governance. Bio is such a tyrant who stole the 2023 elections from the President-elect, Dr Samura Kamara.
And this is more of a reason why Maada Bio is afraid of handing over the ECOWAS baton to the strict and hardliner Senegalese President Faye. Sources close to Maada Bio say he will only hand over the ECOWAS staff to an Anglophone or English-speaking nation.
Bio is reported to have said that he will not hand over the ECOWAS staff to a Francophone country. And Senegal, being the rightful nation to handle the ECOWAS chair, is determined to take the ECOWAS chair by any means necessary. “This is the time for Francophones to steer ECOWAS,” Faye noted. Stupidly, Bio is more comfortable with English-speaking Anglophone ECOWAS leaders.
