When President Julius Maada Bio talked about the American interference in our June 24, 2023 elections, and said he was told to stop the announcement of the results, the People’s Network would like to inform the rest of the world that it was the tip of the iceberg. There’s more to it than meets the eye. It may appear to an outsider the stereotypes of an African election. He mentioned transparency on the grounds that the tabulated results did not go through a projector.  So when President Bio talked about the election steering committee of which partners like the US and all political parties were part, he wanted the world to know that when the rules for the conduct of the election were established, the use of a projector to broadcast the results was not a part of it and it was the APC Party that stood up strongly against the use of electronic gadgets for the elections. However, the use of the projector was not part of the gadgets that APC opposed. Lets clear on this.

President Bio also wanted the world to know that apart from the compromised observers like the Carter Foundation and the EU, plus the two conspirators, the US and the British embassies, the other international observers, the British Commonwealth, the African Union, and the ECOWAS said that the election was free, fair and peaceful. Except for one local observer’s group that came up with a frivolous survey of 747 polling stations out of 11,718 to say the incumbent president does not meet the 55% threshold to avoid a runoff, all the other local observers gave the elections a clean bill of health.
