As a busy President, John Mahama of Ghana did not waste his precious time, but within three hours at Lungi Airport yesterday, his message to the unelected Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio was delivered. “I have been sent by the United Nations Security Council to give you the last warning to leave power. As my dear friend and brother, please hand over peacefully to prevent forceful means,” paraphrasing the words of President Mahama.

What is also succinct is that Maada Bio, because of embarrassment, tried his best to hide the news of the arrival of President Mahama yesterday. But the secret was burst open by aviation sources at Lungi Airport, who told the Organiser newspaper about the arrival.

Sources say the flight that brought Mahama is still at Lungi. The people of Sierra Leone voted for President-Elect Dr Samura Kamara in the 2023 elections, and they should be restored and assured that the transition of power is not a matter of IF but WHEN. No one can stop electoral justice.

Meanwhile, a high-power delegation led by Ambassador Marie-Antoinette Rose Quatre, the CEO of the African Peer Review Mechanism, met with Bio at State House. But Bio’s tweet misspelt it as ‘Stare House’. The Bio colony released photos of this meeting, but the Mahama’s photos were kept secret. Why the secret?

Interestingly, both these delegations were present for the same purpose. But the jittery and deceptive Bio regime and their idiotic Vuvuzelas, inside and outside Sierra Leone, continue to lie about South-South nonsense. All eyes are on Maada Bio as transition looms on the horizon.
