Transfer of Power Nears: Holland Formally Requests Handing Over of Drugs Convict Jos, Bio’s Son-in-Law Hidden in Sierra Leone
Quick Summary
The illegitimate SLPP regime of the unelected Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio and cohorts, have fallen from the frying pot into the fire.
There is fire on the mountain and this facilitates the transfer of power sooner than expected. Since the recent exposure of the Dutch drugs convict Bolle Jos Leijdekkers in Sierra Leone, the corrupt Bio presidency has pretended not to know the presence and whereabouts of Bolle Jos despite all the tangible pieces of evidence available. (Photo: Jos is in Sierra Leone posed with Bio’s brothers James Bio, centre, and Yankuba Bio, right).
Now that the government of the Netherlands has formally requested the drug cartel presidency at State House to handover the most wanted drugs, convict Bolle Joe Leijdekkers found residing surreptitiously in Sierra Leone, it means pressure is mounting. It also means the facilitation of transfer of power to the real winner of 2023 polls, Dr Samura Kamara.
The request has come days after the incompetent SLPP Information Minister Chernor Bah aka Ceebah has ridiculed his boss Bio by saying that they are not aware of Jos’ presence in Sierra Leone though photos showing the drugs smuggler sitting behind Bio in a Church in Bonthe.
Before the formal request by Holland, the useless Ceebah had the temerity to tell the press that the SLPP regime is yet to receive any request from Netherlands for the extradition of Jos. Ceebah was contradictory. From one side of his mouth, he said they were unaware of Jos’ whereabouts and on the other side he said they have not received any request. (Photo: Maada and Jos, right).

Which is which? Simply, it means Jos is being hidden from the crime busters. Interestingly, the Bio family, the SLPP regime and even Bio’s wife Fatima Jabbe Bio are distancing themselves from the Jos case even though he is married to Bio’s daughter Agnes Bio who had a daughter with the drugs fugitive.
Now that Holland has taken the serious diplomatic step to make a formal demand from the Sierra Leone regime for the extradition of Jos who is facing a 24 years’ imprisonment, among other serious crimes, there should be no hiding place for Bio’s son-in-law Jos in Sierra Leone.
It remains to be seen if Bio would hand over his son-in-law. Reports say Maada Bio has made frantic efforts to hide Jos inside the country to stop him from extradition. But as the world is watching after Ambassador to Guinea Alimamy Bangura was nabbed for cocaine smuggling, Bio’s time is truly up. The transition of power will happen very soon.
Dutch Justice Minister speaking on Leijdekkers Jos extradition said Netherlands government has formally reached out to Sierra Leone to extradite Bolle Jos quickly: “Authorities are willing”. Netherlands and Dutch are preparing extradition papers for Jos, reports say. (Photo: Jos sitting behind Maada Bio in the Church in Bonthe).

REUTERS – European Cocaine Kingpin Jos Leidekkers Residing in Sierra Leone, Dutch Police and Prosecutors Say
THE HAGUE, Jan 24 (Reuters) – One of Europe’s most wanted fugitives, convicted cocaine smuggler Jos Leijdekkers, has been living in Sierra Leone for at least six months, a spokesperson for the Dutch prosecutors’ office told Reuters on Friday.
The 33-year-old Leijdekkers, who was sentenced in absentia to 24 years in prison on June 25 by a Rotterdam court for smuggling more than 7 tonnes of cocaine, is one of the Netherlands most wanted men.
“It has the highest priority of police and prosecutors to get him to the Netherlands to serve his sentence. We are doing everything we can in that regard, but we cannot comment any further because of the ongoing investigation,” Wim de Bruin said.
