Top EJ Fighter Poison Tree of Koinadugu is Dead; Passed Away Yesterday After Long Illness; He Died Knowing Bio Lost ECOWAS Chair; Final Consolation
Quick Summary
Nothing would have made the gallant Poison Tree smile on his deathbed than knowing that Maada Bio lost the ECOWAS chair. A great consolation for the late man.
That last-minute consolation for our Poison Tree of Koinadugu in his final precious hours on earth would inevitably have given our fearless hero and Electoral Justice fighter a perfect rest in peace. Poison Tree heard the fantastic news that ECOWAS had dumped unfit Maada Bio. (Photo: Late Poison Tree was a great human being. RIP).
It invariably means he died knowing that our long battle to restore democracy is now within touching distance. Rest in peace, brother Poison Tree. Your EJ colleagues shall definitely complete the EJ war in the final lap of the marathon shortly, to a victorious end.
Poison Tree’s painful death yesterday was visibly shocking, and it saddens electoral justice fighters and his family and friends in particular, and the patriotic people of Sierra Leone in general. Poison Tree’s traditional folklore stories will be missed. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
The late EJ champion, whose real name is Mr Alimamy Kargbo, was a colossus in his own right for the restoration of democracy, a campaign that is in the final stages of total success. The late Poison Tree, a true African hero, achieved success for his people and country.
Besides his social media blogging exploits for many years, the late Poison Tree of Koinadugu was a gallant soldier who served the Sierra Leone Armed Forces with distinction during the 11 years of civil war. On retirement from the military, Poison Tree was a Staff Sergeant.
As a civilian, Poison Tree continued his national duties as a patriotic citizen, becoming a fearless and very popular social media blogger, spurred on after the illegal Sierra Leone President, Julius Maada Bio, stole the people’s mandate in the June 24, 2023 elections. Despite his protracted sickness, the admired, confident orator Poison Tree of Koinadugu was still making audios to advocate for his worldwide audience who believe in Electoral Justice and democracy. His last audio was historic. Poison Tree advised Sierra Leone not to protest.
And true to his visionary advice and patriotism, Poison Tree’s belief in the non-violent and peaceful nature of the President-elect Dr Samura Kamara became glaringly realistic. People boycotted the useless Lungi protest, as other EJ colleagues have called it, and finally EJ won.
Poor Bio was removed as ECOWAS Chair without any protest, thanks immensely to the united front put forward by the other ECOWAS Heads of State who voted out Bio on July 19, 2026, much to the happiness of patriotic Sierra Leoneans, including the late Poison Tree.
Sadly, two days later, the gallant EJ hero Poison Tree passed away to eternity in peace, knowing that the number one enemy in Sierra Leone, Maada Bio, had lost the ECOWAS chairmanship. This singular, timely victory is a celebration for our late hero, Poison Tree. RIP.
Brother Poison Tree died a happy man. Who wouldn’t? Knowing that wicked Maada Bio had lost the ECOWAS chair! Now is the time to come to the aid of his family, his three wives and children, especially the young ones. Appeals to all patriots to assist this loving family.
Good Samaritans and well-wishers who wish to help Poison Tree’s immediate family in cash or kind should please contact Mr Alhaji, popularly known as Northwest, our diehard social media activist. Blogger Ahmed in Sierra Leone can also be contacted. The Organiser newspaper appeals to all charity groups for SOS assistance. It’s urgent. Fitting tributes for Mr Poison Tree came from his EJ colleagues, especially from his military colleagues. It was touching to hear a tribute from the CEO of Save Democracy, aka Malakai, who said: “I am informing all Sierra Leoneans that we have lost a battalion fighter.
“We have lost 100s of people. Because there are some people among us fighting for EJ, like Poison Tree alone, who is more than 100 people. Poison Tree, when he came out, would make audios and videos every day telling us he would not take mess or nonsense in his territory where he resided,” CEO Malakai noted.
Mr Daniel Fassali Koroma, he confirmed that we lost Poison Tree yesterday, July 21, 2026, at the Government Hospital in Kabala. Mr Fassali added: “As I talked, we have taken his corpse to the mortuary. We are at his home arranging his funeral.
Mr Fassali Koroma said: “On Sunday evening we will transfer Poison Tree’s corpse from Kabala to his beloved village in Balara, and on Monday we have agreed to lay him to rest. Again, good Samaritans should contact brother Northwest, the blogger who broke the sad news yesterday. Urgent help is needed now for our great hero, Poison Tree. RIP.
