Freedom fighter Mr Alie Yassin Jr passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Guy’s Hospital in London after a protracted illness. He was 57 years old and is survived by four gorgeous children: a son, Alie Yassin Jr., and three daughters, Alina, Amaya, and Aliya.

Before the burial, Alie Yassin Junior’s corpse will be laid at the Sierra Leone Mosque in Brixton at 12.30 pm, when mourners from all over the world will offer Janaza prayers for the late brother, son, uncle, nephew, father, friend, and freedom fighter Mr Alie Junior Yassin. After the burial ceremony in Chislehurst Cemetery, the mourners will assemble at the Banquetting Hall in Forest Hill, where remembrance speeches by mourners to pay their last respects to the late gallant Electoral Justice EJ champion will be made.

Amid the refreshments that will follow at Forest Hill, mourners who personally know the late Alie Yassin Junior would be expected to make brief statements in continuation of paying their respects to Rambo. May his soul rest in perfect peace, Ameen. Many donations were made, including SLAM led by Director General Dr Venod Fuller, and the Ahmadhiyya School Group FOMASA led by Chairman Mr Umaru Kabia).

Last night at the family home in Bermondsey, South London, fervent prayers were offered by the Imams and other mourners for the late strongman, Mr Alie Junior Yassin. The death of Mr Alie Yassin Jr on the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2025, around 5 am at Guy’s Hospital in London, has left a wide gap in the Sierra Leone community. But his good spirits will fill this void in the struggle to free Sierra Leone from the claws of bad people.

Meanwhile, the Yassin and Mujuzi families are extending their deepest thanks and appreciation to all the mourners, including those who came from far afield as America, Senegal, etc., to witness the funeral of their beloved brother, uncle, father, Mr Alie Yassin Junior.
