Protest is a Capital Offence in Bio’s Regime Sadly Aided by Educated Fools Like Vicky Remoe
Quick Summary
The people’s protest should never be associated with a capital offence as is the case presently under the autocratic SLPP regime of Julius Maada Bio.
And pathetically, the tyrannical regime of Julius Maada Bio is being propped up and aided by a handful of nincompoop domiciles in the Diaspora. It is disheartening to see Sierra Leoneans who ought to know better parading around the world and supporting Maada Bio’s dangerous agenda. It is sad to hear people, educated people for that matter aiding and abetting Maada Bio’s killer instincts against his own people. Anytime Maada Bio’s killing machines murder peaceful protesters, these educated fools would say ‘Why are people still protesting when they know that they would be killed’. Really? In a democracy? No rights to protest? God help Sierra Leone. Look at the SLPP hypocrisy. When Maada’s thugs were in opposition, they were all over the place protesting freely against President Ernest Koroma without intimidation. (Educated fools like Vicky Remoe sadly admire Maada Bio’s SLPP killers).
Why should demonstration become a capital offence in Sierra Leone? Sierra Leone, under the despotic regime of Maada Bio, is the only so-called democratic nation that does not allow its citizens to protest freely, Why should disgruntled Sierra Leoneans lose their lives or be arrested and detained whenever they decide to protest? That should not be the case because the Sierra Leone Constitution clearly gives the rights to all Sierra Leoneans to demonstrate whenever they see fit. However, the barbarians in the SLPP/Paopa regime do not want citizens to highlight their problems through protests. These SLPP brutes often hide behind the excuse that protesters should be given permission to carry out their protests! Really? Look at the SLPP hypocrisy. When Maada’s thugs were in opposition, they were all over the place protesting freely against President Ernest Koroma without intimidation.
Most painfully, we have Sierra Leoneans, especially those residing and enjoying Western democracies, idiotically opposing demonstrations in Sierra Leoneans simply because they are members and supporters of the ruling SLPP regime. SLPP/Paopa social media activists like Vicky Remoe are one classic idiot who pretends to be a Democrat but deep down, she is one stupid and blind Sierra Leone woman. When would such idiots know that in normal circumstances, protest is not a capital offence that protesters should lose their lives for? Maada Bio’s regime continues to kill innocent protesters and his violent regime has been doing this killing spree ever since they came to power on April 4, 2018. The latest SLPP murders took place on September 11, 2023 demonstrations. Look at the SLPP hypocrisy. When Maada’s thugs were in opposition, they were all over the place protesting freely against President Ernest Koroma without intimidation. (Photo: Killed on September 11).

Unfortunately for the SLPP party, this time around they murdered their own SLPP members and supporters on September 11. The SLPP killers had wanted to kill APC party members and supporters but God confused them and they instead turned their guns on their own people in the Moeba Community in the eastern part of Freetown. These victims are Sierra Leoneans first and foremost, and that is why it is completely wrong to have people like Vicky Remoe supporting Maada Bio in these violent exercises. It is really painful to see educated fools aiding and supporting Maada Bio whenever his killers kill protesters. But prosperity would judge them one fine day. This is because all Maada aiders and abetters of such heinous crimes are equal offenders. The wicked SLPP regime has used killings as are pastime, a norm since 2018. Even so-called educated fools like Vicky Remoe continue to expose their ineptitude. Look at the SLPP hypocrisy. When Maada’s thugs were in opposition, they were all over the place protesting freely against President Ernest Koroma without intimidation. Vickie Remoe Should Keep Quiet and Stop Pretending
By a Patriotic Citizen
In my own candid opinion, I see not much difference between Vickie Remoe and Sylvia Blyden when it comes to their support for SLPP. The only difference I see is that Vickie sometimes has the courage to take a swipe at Maada Bio and his government, which is the game she cunningly plays, whilst Sylvia Blyden leverages the influence of her so-called SMALL SISTER to fight Ernest Koroma and the APC for obvious reasons. So she (Sylvia) will come in full attack mode whenever APC is mentioned in any discussion. Vickie Remoe is asking how long should people be called to go to the streets, making it seem like the demonstration in Sierra Leone is the most abominable or heinous thing to do. In her entire piece, I haven’t read a single line where she asked Maada Bio and his yes men why should they always kill Sierra Leoneans because they go to the streets to demonstrate a right which they all enjoyed in all the years of EBK as president.
This has been their pattern since Maada Bio assumed power. The question about why should people be killed when they go out and demonstrate is absolutely lost in the conversation but they always focus on why should Sierra Leoneans go out to demonstrate. This is disingenuous and very sad. Vickie has the effrontery to say: “Right now you have people who want President Bio to go only so they can replace them to do the same things they’re criticising them for. She made a post on her Facebook days before the June 24 elections saying almost the same thing in this piece. I would have shared that post here if I had found it. But this is like she’s saying to us…
We know Maada Bio is terrible but he’s better off. Unless you’re encapsulated in your tribal, political, or regional cocoon but if your sense of reasoning functions well, there’s no way someone can tell me Maada Bio’s presidency is better off after all the real-time horrors we’ve all witnessed in the past five years. I am an APCian, I believe the APC had its dark sides too in governance but they do not come even close to those of Maada Bio and the SLPP in our modern democracy. So while I agree with some of the issues Vickie Remoe shed light on in her piece and sometimes applaud her for talking on the pertinent issues, I however think she should keep quiet and stop pretending she really cares when we know she’ll ultimately tell us Maada Bio is better off regardless. That is double standards!
