One Cry Turn Deserves Another: Bio Cried After Recent Meet with Global Partners, Resembling Dr Samura’s Tears After 2018 Loss
Quick Summary
One bad turn, like crying Bio, actually deserves another as latest information say Julius Maada Bio wept when he recently met with the international community.
Julius Maada Bio’s cry-baby-cry resembles Dr Samura Kamara’s tears at the US embassy in 2018. That fateful 2018 election cruelly handed over to Maada Bio by the evil machinations of Ernest Bai Koroma is as fresh today as it was in 2018. Dr Samura Kamara shed tears after he left the US Embassy, where he was told that Bio was going to be president. (Photo: Poor Bio shed tears like this).
A similar scenario took place a few days ago when the illegal Sierra Leone President Maada Bio shed tears in front of the international community. The main reason for Bio crying was not clear, but it has been confirmed that something bitter was confided to Bio. What was said? The answer remains unclear.
The sucker punch unleashed by the no-nonsense international community may likely have triggered Bio to shed tears. The tears that streamed down the face of the electoral thief, Julius Maada Bio, a few days ago in Freetown, remain a serious mystery, despite the speculations.
Perhaps, the vehement opposition by the global partners to the planned early elections in 2026 might be the heaviest blow that landed on the tiny head of the illegal President Bio. This was a plan hatched a long time ago by SLPP and APC evil forces to wrong-foot electoral justice. (Photo: Bio’s days are numbered).

But it has backfired big time. It is very unusual to see a grown-up, let alone a so-called president, crying and tears flowing like the river Tihun in Bonthe District. These tears are signs of deep emotions, sadness, sorrow, and grief or being overwhelmed with joy, or even expressing love.
But from all indications, those present at the Presidential Lodge when the illegal President Maada Bio shed tears – not crocodile tears, but actual tears – noticed that Maada Bio was really upset about something that was strongly disturbing him.
And Bio’s tears were not tears of happiness at all. Why did Maada Bio, the electoral thief, cry a few days ago in Freetown? What did he hear from the international community that warranted such a quiet outburst of emotions, leading to him crying and shedding tears?
Bio’s tears are reminiscent of the painful tears that Dr Samura Kamara shed in 2018 after being told about losing the elections, despite winning those elections. The major development that happened in the last few days at the Lodge is a reminder that nothing is permanent. (Photo: President-elect Dr Samura Kamara to take his power shortly).

The question remains. Why did the eyewitness see Maada Bio crying and wiping tears from his face? The eyewitnesses present could not understand why Maada Bio quietly wept. Maada Bio did not explain what was amiss that prompted the weeping.
But keen observers believed it was a distressing incident that affected Bio, the man who stole the 2023 polls. The usually reliable diplomatic sources say Maada Bio would have been forced to do something that he did not like to do, but had no option but to do it, anyway.
And that would have made him lose hope of achieving an important thing very close to his heart. Only something very significant to Julius Maada Bio and the entire SLPP/Paopa clan would have sparked such emotional pain that would have resulted in his weeping so publicly.
What was the key reason that motivated Maada Bio to cry at this point? Are the tears of sadness associated with the political transition of power in Sierra Leone? Has Bio finally smelled a rat? And has he finally seen the writing on the wall? (Photo: Some Tripartite Committee members. Tripartite is now a thorn in the Bio flesh).

Has it finally dawned on Bio and the Paopas that the Tripartite has results? This is the same tripartite investigation that he and other doubting Thomases had foolishly overlooked, disrespected and maligned, irrespective of the broad daylight robbery of the June 24, 2023, elections.
The answer to the above question is not as clear as it should be. What is, however, succinct is that Maada Bio’s tears are reminiscent of the tears that flowed on the face of the APC leader, Dr Samura Kamara, in 2018 at the US Embassy in Freetown, where he was informed and begged to allow Bio to rule.
Are the tears of history repeating themselves? This scenario of comparison between Maada Bio’s tears today and Dr Samura Kamara’s in 2018 is very similar. The common denominator regarding the weeping is one individual losing power and the other winning it.
Whatever the reason or reasons for Bio’s tears, Sierra Leoneans are more optimistic that good news is underway amid the frantic efforts of the international community to increase the pressure on Maada Bio to fully implement the 85 Tripartite recommendations. Crybaby Bio does not matter to the majority of suffering Sierra Leoneans who were robbed of their electoral mandates in 2023. The citizens are waiting patiently for the restoration of their democracy and the swearing-in of their president-elect, Dr Samura Kamara.
A keen observer noted: “Little Kaifala Marah followed little Bio to negotiate the little 2028 agenda, but in the end, they failed and Maada Bio cried. When Maada Bio stopped crying, he turned to the global partners, but they, too, were unable to console him. Bio cried again.
UN told Bio that the issue is non-negotiable, and Bio turned and cried again. Popular blogger Wurie APC has always advised citizens in the Temne dialect, ‘Betheh M’beng’ meaning ‘You Better Accept’. Sierra Leoneans want Bio to accept now and congratulate Dr Samura Kamara, or face the wrath of the people and the global partners.
