This shameful cocaine exportation from Sierra Leone has dented the Bio presidency so much that the international community has seen this odd and dangerous cocaine development as a springboard to facilitate the transfer of power.

Under the auspices of the presidency of Maada Bio, in connivance with the most wanted drug baron in Europe called Johannes Leijdekkers Bolle Jos, presently hidden somewhere in Sierra Leone, the cocaine business has damaged the remaining reputation of Sierra Leone. Dubiously Christened Umarr Sheriff by Maada Bio, the drug fugitive Bolle Jos, is today incidentally the embarrassing son-in-law after marrying Bio’s daughter Agnes Bio. This was done to perfect the drug trade in West Africa into the world at large.

Liberia is the latest country where the Sierra Leone cocaine trade has been exported to. Other countries that had suffered from the cocaine trade from Sierra Leone are Guinea, Senegal, Gambia & Ivory Coast etc. where Sierra Leoneans have been caught with cocaine.

Today, shameful reports have emerged from Liberia where a Sierra Leonean was apprehended with cocaine worth over US$77,000 found in a vehicle that departed from Sierra Leone. The Drug Enforcement Officers in Liberia are investigating the matter.

Being the latest cocaine story linked to Sierra Leone’s unelected President Bio, the escalation of the drug trade in West Africa has not gone down well. Liberian Authorities Intercept Drug Shipment Worth $77,000 from Sierra Leone

On March 17, 2025, the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) and Joint Security forces intercepted a large drug shipment in Foya District, Lofa County worth over $77,000 USD. Around 10:45 PM, the LDEA received a tip-off about a black pickup truck with Liberian license plate A533348, believed to be transporting narcotics. The truck was traveling from Sierra Leone to Monrovia.

Acting on the tip, security forces stopped the vehicle in Lofa County. The driver, 43-year-old Fayiah Lamie from Monrovia, initially claimed he was only carrying clothes and slippers. But after a search, authorities found 772 plates of high-grade marijuana, worth around USD 77,200 (about 14.6 million Liberian dollars).

They also found eight boxes of Tramadol, valued at USD 842 (160,000 Liberian dollars). Lamie was arrested and is now under investigation. He is expected to face charges soon. The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency has said it will continue its efforts to fight drug trafficking in Liberia and will provide more updates as the investigation moves forward.
