Human Remains Found in London Linked to Bristol Body Parts Discovery as Police Name Suspect as a Colombian National

Human remains have been found in a flat in west London by officers investigating the discovery of body parts in two suitcases in Bristol. A crime scene has been in place in Scott’s Road, Shepherd’s Bush, since Friday afternoon. Police have also named a suspect wanted in connection with the discoveries as Colombian national Yostin Andres Mosquera, 24. The statement added: “At this early stage, officers believe that the remains are connected to the human remains found in Bristol, and that there are still two male victims. Officers believe they know the identity of the two men, although formal identification is yet to take place. Enquiries continue to locate and inform their next of kin.
“Both victims are thought to have been known to Mosquera and the Met is appealing for information on his whereabouts.” Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine said: “This is a fast-moving enquiry with detectives in London and Bristol actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry. The force added a 36-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation in Greenwich on Friday has been released without charge. It comes after Bristol officers were alerted to reports of a man seen acting suspiciously on the Clifton Suspension Bridge just before midnight on Wednesday. They arrived at the scene within 10 minutes – but the man had vanished, leaving a suitcase behind. A second suitcase was found nearby a short time later, Avon and Somerset Police said.
