Electoral Justice Wins: Tax Fraud Fatima Bio Ignores Foreign Journalist’s 21-Day Warning for the UK Flat & 10 Villas in Gambia
Quick Summary
The problems following Sierra Leone’s Mob Justice First Lady Fatima Bio are deepening due to her underestimation of the warning from the crime journalist.
Foreign journalist Josef Skrdlik, working for the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project OCCRP was very professional when she contacted Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Jabbe Bio (legal from April 4, 2018 to June 2023) and illegal from June 27, 2023 to date) to clear the air. Electoral justice has overcome corrupt politicians. (Photo: Corrupt Fatima Bio).
What was the purpose of clearing the air? It centres on the illegally acquired properties worth millions of dollars in Gambia and the Council House flat in London by Fatima Bio. The UK flat is a serious problem as it involves Housing & Council Tax benefits fraud. Electoral justice has overcome corrupt politicians.
Arrogant Fatima played the fool by ignoring the journalist’s request. The problems are self-inflicted, and there are no excuses for Fatima Bio not to come forward to clear the air regarding the dubious acquisition of the 10 properties in Gambia and the London flat. Electoral justice has overcome corrupt politicians. (Photo: Journalist Josef Skrdlik of OCCRP).

It was the golden opportunity given to Fatima Bio by the crime-busting journalist, which the corrupt and illegal First Lady Fatima refused to take to her advantage. Her arrogance and overconfidence backfired, thus opening the door to global embarrassment and disgrace. Electoral justice has overcome corrupt politicians.
Factually, journalist Josef Skrdlik gave over 21 days of ample time to Fatima Bio through a tweet to respond to the serious housing allegations in Gambia and the UK. But Fatima lied about the journalist’s correspondence by saying she was only given 24 hours to respond. Electoral justice has overcome corrupt politicians.
Fatima Bio’s misleading statement has terrible consequences for her already tarnished and shameful reputation. Read what the journalist Josef Skrdlik tweeted in X post: “Still dodging the questions. And no, @FirstLady Bio, you weren’t given 24 hours to respond. (Photo: Fatima Bio’s illegally acquired villas in Gambia).

“The email you shared, dated April 16, clearly shows you were asked to reply by April 25 – that’s nine days. In the end, you had over three weeks, as we only published on May 10,” the journalist reacted in her X post to clear the air and expose Fatima’s lies.

Dear Mrs Fatima Jabbe Bio,
I’m a journalist working on a story for the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, OCCRP. OCCRP is preparing for publication a story concerning your property purchases in the Gambia in the period after you became the First Lady of Sierra Leone in April 2018. As part of this story, we’re considering reporting on how your close relatives acquired at least 10 properties in the Gambia in recent years.

We found no indications that the funds used came from legitimate sources and discovered that some of these properties were acquired with the help of a top government contractor, raising questions of possible corruption. As fair and responsible journalists working in the public interest, we would like to allow you to comment upon or amend our information and answer the questions.
The Special Report by OCCRP on the Villas Associated with Fatima and Her Family in Gambia
Fatima Bio, the First Lady of Sierra Leone, has been reported to own several properties in Gambia, sparking controversy over the source of funds for these purchases. Here are some of the properties associated with her and her family:
– Properties in Gambia:
– Two Villas: Fatima Bio owns two villas in the exclusive Brufut Heights neighbourhood and Bijilo district, purchased for $81,000 and $44,000 respectively.
– Apartment Building: She owns a four-story apartment building in Bijilo, purchased for approximately $148,000, which offers apartments for rent.
– Flat: A two-bedroom apartment in Forest View, an upscale estate in the Senegambia Strip, purchased for $85,000. (Photo: Thieving Bio couple Maada and Fatima).

Her family members also own properties in Gambia.
– Mother’s Villa: Tidankay Darboe, Fatima Bio’s mother, owns a luxury villa in Brufut Heights, purchased for $500,000.
– Half-Brothers’ Properties: Abdoul Mois Darboe, Fatima Bio’s half-brother, owns
– A penthouse in Fajara Waterfront was purchased for $500,000.
– A two-bedroom apartment in Kololi Sands, purchased for $150,000.
– A hotel project in Kotu, with construction resuming in 2019 after a period of abandonment.
It’s worth noting that the source of funds for these purchases is unclear, and the Bio family has not provided detailed explanations. An investigation by the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) raised questions about the origin of the funds, given the family’s modest means before Julius Maada Bio became president.
