Sierra Leone is today destroyed due largely to Ernest Koroma’s political mischief. Never in the beleaguered or chequered history of Sierra Leone has a nation produced wicked, manipulative, pretentious, deceptive, unpatriotic citizen like ex-president Ernest Koroma. In early 2000, there were a few political prophets who predicted and forewarned APC party stalwarts to reject the wary transgression of Ernest Koroma. The political soothsayers were led by the late Abdul Serry Kamal, a judicial colossus. Were there listening ears then?

“Do not allow or trust this man Ernest near the APC hot seat. He is not reliable,” the legal guru Serry Kamal was reported to have forewarned. However, his sterling advice, and others, were abandoned by party stalwarts who begged for Ernest to be given the golden stool.

Fast forward, Ernest became President in 2007 and was re-elected in 2012. By 2018, while Sierra Leoneans were hailing Ernest for the good job he did in the infrastructural developments, especially roads, Ernest and his devilish APC cabals were planning evil.

Ernest was speaking from both sides of his mouth. He was secretly preparing the most useless human being in Julius Maada Bio, the RUF rebel founding member – who went on for 22 years without a job – for the most coveted seat in the country.

On the other side of his mouth, Ernest slyly selected an innocent political and technocrat, Dr Samura Kamara, to lead the party for the 2018 elections. All along, the devil Ernest knew his top priority was to hand power to Bio. He then started sabotaging the very man he had selected to head the APC. No wonder Ernest and his evil APC officials never really campaigned for Dr Samura Kamara in 2018. Reports say they did not even vote for Dr Samura.

But Dr Samura Kamara still won the elections. However, Ernest lied that the global partners wanted a regime change. Singlehandedly, Ernest went on to give power to Bio that he had planned all along. What followed was the worst outcome dotted with mass killings, detentions, rife-corruption, trading in dangerous drugs and in human organs, etc.

Despite all this mayhem in the country, Ernest kept mute, total silence, no comment as Bio’s evil forces raged on. Then came the 2023 elections and Ernest and his traitorous APC officials neither campaigned nor voted for Dr Samura, yet the voters voted en masse for their man and Dr Samura won it.

But the one-tribe hegemonic Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL, with support from Ernest and APC executives, declared Bio as the winner despite not showing the results. Dr Samura said no way this time around and Tripartite was born thanks to God’s divinity.

Today, Tripartite has won the battle and Ernest and his gang of thieves are still playing mischief to deny the people their electoral justice. APC traitors Minkailu Mansaray, Osman Yansaneh, Lansana Dumbuya and Sidi Yahya Tunis were seen posing with hypocrite Ernest Koroma, thus further disgracing themselves and fitting the description as the enemies of the state. In short, evil Ernest and his cohorts have blood on their hands.

In Sierra Leone, the people are solidly behind Dr Samura and Tripartite. All efforts by the Minkailus to lie to the people that Dr Samura had sold their votes of June 24, 2023 elections to Maada Bio have failed woefully. That has only soared the popularity of Dr Samura today thanks to the APC Grassroots supporters, the most important stakeholders.

While at the same time, the criminal gang calling themselves APC executives who continue to betray Dr Samura has fallen into the ashcan of history. Today, everyone has seen that Ernest is the godfather of deceit, hypocrisy for his total hatred of the Sierra Leone electorates.

And rightly so, the prophetic warnings by the late veteran lawyer Serry Kamal in the late 90s and early 2000s about the double standard of Ernest Koroma have come to pass with devastating consequences for citizens in the country. In reality, Ernest is worse than the madman called Maada Bio.

As a result of Ernest Koroma’s betrayal of democracy, even ECOWAS and international partners do not trust him anymore. Ernest, who used to be the darling diplomat for global partners to monitor elections in Africa, has shot himself in the foot. Ernest is today the most hated politician in Sierra Leone. Thank God, electoral justice has won the battle due to the efforts of ECOWAS officials who are unhappy with Ernest.
