The admonishment of the APC party has come at a time when most Sierra Leoneans are depending on them to carve out the right solution to protect the people’s mandate of the June 24, 2023 elections. This is a very serious Dialogue never experienced in the history of Sierra Leone. The Dialogue is all about protecting democracy and the people’s votes. For the next three days of Dialogue, the APC representatives must take the SLPP representatives as real enemies on a battlefield who have stolen their electoral victory thereby ushering the electorates into more mayhem and disappointment. That is why the people are kindly appealing to the APC delegates to avoid eating and drinking any food or drinks provided at the Dialogue Hall by the SLPP regime. “We want the APC to make sure they bring in their own food and drinks because the SLPP agents are wounded and can do anything to win,” APC Grassroots noted.

“APC must defend the voters’ rights. Nothing more, nothing less,” an APC supporter added. The commencement of the Monday, October 16 Dialogue between the APC and the ECSL/SLPP is the beginning of the restoration of democracy in Sierra Leone. Anything short of this ambition is tantamount to destroying democracy and ushering in dictators, autocrats, and electoral thieves like Maada Bio. Competent sources say the SLPP Dialogue team is ready to say no to everything democratic. And the APC is also advised to stand firm to get people’s justice.

All Bio’s intention is to stay in power by crook means. That is why the APC representatives must be even more obstinate to stand firm to defend democracy and the restoration of the people’s mandate publicly stolen by Bio on June 24, 2023. In connivance with the biggest electoral fraudster in Mohamed Konneh, the Chief Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, ECSL, Sierra Leoneans are however optimistic that the international community would do the right thing and allow a re-run of the elections.

The International Mediating Team is comprised of the African Union, ECOWAS, the Commonwealth, and others. Moreover, the EU Final Report that spelled out the electoral anomalies of the Bio presidency and the ECSL has punctured the plans of the SLPP regime big time. But they will not relent. During the three-day Dialogue, the APC party, obviously representing the voices of the people, should avoid pleasantries with the SLPP. No food, no drinks, no hugs, no pictures taken with the SLPP crooks, etc.
