Shamefully, the electoral thief Julius Maada Bio is now hiding behind his dirty fingers to say “Sierra Leone is a sovereign state and sovereign thief,” meaning he and his SLPP/Paopas have the right to steal anything in Sierra Leone, including democratic elections. As power slips away from the illegal Sierra Leone President Bio, Freedom Day is coming nearer. Within 24 hours, the illegitimate President Bio secretly left Lungi International Airport on a chartered flight to Togo, where he stayed for a few hours en route to Ghana.

Powerless Bio shuttled to Ghana on the same hired flight from Freetown via Togo. For what purpose or purposes, you guess. Who does not know that travelling in chartered flights is an astronomically expensive undertaking, especially for a broken regime like Maada Bio’s SLPP/Paopa thieves?

Sadly, for the bankrupt Sierra Leone regime, Bio is misusing the nation’s coffers to hire expensive private jets to shuttle from country to country, the latest being in Togo and Ghana. Bio’s motives are still hidden, but if, as the odd ECOWAS Chairman on an ECOWAS mission, then the ECOWAS Commission is obliged to foot Bio’s bills. But as far as the surveillance team tracking Bio’s daily movements is aware, the unsettled Maada Bio is not on ECOWAS assignments. Therefore, his travel expenses, etc., in the past 24 hours from Freetown to Lome and Accra, and God knows where next, being billed to the skint Consolidated Revenue Fund, is not fair on suffering Sierra Leoneans.

At this crucial moment when the transition of power is imminent, Sierra Leone, already bankrupt, cannot afford to foot any unnecessary travel, hotel or food bills for the illegitimate president. Thank goodness, the transfer of power led by the determined international community is well underway and could take place anytime.

Force rather than peaceful means is on the table now. Sierra Leoneans are therefore advised to exercise maximum restraint and patience and be calm, but at the same time be prepared to celebrate the coming of Freedom Day as the President-Elect, Dr Samura Kamara, is on the verge of the presidency he won in the 2023 polls. Immense gratitude goes to the international community for the pressure from the UN, EU, AU, US, and UK, etc., to force the exit of Maada Bio from power. Bio is now using an unlikely reason to prolong his stay in power despite agreeing and signing all documents to say he lost the June 24, 2023, elections.

The powerless Maada Bio’s new shameful and laughable adage in defence of his stolen elections of June 24, 2023, is ‘Sovereign State and Sovereignty Thief’. The SLPP/Paopas have no more reason to put across to convince doubters of their illegality.

The disgraceful phrase “Sovereign State and ‘Sovereignty Thief’ is Bio’s latest reason. Wonders never end in the Bio colony. What the idiot Bio and his SLPP/Paopa cronies are still failing to realise is that he has already signed an international treaty, that he lost the 2023 elections and that he had already agreed to hand over power.
