Bio’s Mind Games Won’t Change the ECOWAS Mandate to Restore Constitutional Rule in Sierra Leone Peacefully or Forcefully

Quick Summary

No amount of mind games by the desperate and illegal SLPP regime of Julius Maada Bio would change the minds of the ECOWAS Forces for Sierra Leone.

For months now, the electoral thief Julius Maada Bio has worked overtime to convince the ECOWAS Commission to change their minds on its primary mission in Sierra Leone but to no avail. Maada Bio had used hefty bribes to convince ECOWAS leaders to change the mandate of the ECOWAS Troops from the restoration of constitutional rule and democracy to that of training of Sierra Leone soldiers and the like but to avail. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.” (Photo: Bio in China with President Xi Jinping is another mind game).

Despite the huge bribery to corrupt some of the ECOWAS leaders, the Commission was succinct in its message to Maada Bio. “We are sorry but this mission is above us. We want to help you but it is very difficult. We are following instructions from the United Nations Security Council to make sure democracy and constitutional rule are restored in your country and in the sub-region where necessary,” the ECOWAS leaders told Bio many times. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

This secret conversation between Maada Bio and ECOWAS had been going on back and forth since January this year but no fruitful results had been attained. Maada Bio knew all along that his days are numbered because he never truly won the June 24, 2023 multi-tier elections which he stole in broad daylight amid national and international condemnations and clear rejections of his SLPP regime through no recognitions and congratulatory messages from world leaders etc. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.” (ECOWAS Depot in Lungi is ready for the soldiers).

The present SLPP rumoured letter circulating on social media about ECOWAS mandate change is part of the ongoing mind games Maada Bio’s Vuvuzelas are doing to distract and confuse the gullible population. The truth is ECOWAS Troops are not changing its mandate. All is fake and full of lies being spread by Maada Bio. The ECOWAS mandate is unchangeable and they will land in Sierra Leone from September 15 onwards to install democratically elected president of Sierra Leone. Restoring constitutional rule in the sub-region is pivotal and Sierra Leone shall be the precedent. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

Reliable sources Maada Bio’s behind the scenes bribery and corruption had almost succeeded as ECOWAS was seen dragging its feet to the restoration of democracy. ECOWAS Troops were first slated to arrive in June this year but the foot-dragging exercise of ECOWAS delayed the process. But it was only after the United Nations Security Council put its foot down that ECOWAS Commission woke up from its slumber to commence the rapid preparation of the deployment process recently. It was the UN that chose the September 15, 2024 date for deployment to start. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

Therefore, Sierra Leoneans should ignore Maada Bio’s mind games letter that talked about changing ECOWAS’ mandate. It’s fake and just another mind game by Bio to confuse his gullible supporters. The letter is an old letter written in January 2024. The fact of the matter is ECOWAS Troops are on strict orders to implement Tripartite outcome. It is time for actionable and implementable of Resolution 8 to take place, thanks to the resilience of the UN Security Council. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.” (Photo: President Tinubu is ready to enforce the UN mandate).

Now, Bio is in deep trouble as democracy beckons. Beleaguered Bio never wanted ECOWAS to send troops in the country in the first place but he woefully failed despite the heavy greasing of palms by him to make sure the mandates of the ECOWAS Troops are changed. What was the intention of Maada Bio? The illegal SLPP leader wanted ECOWAS to change its mandate from restoration of constitutional rule to that of training exercise. ECOWAS did not waste time to turn down Bio’s training of the Sierra Leone military request. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

Reports say had it not been for the persistence of the United Nations Security Council, Bio would have won the battle. Insiders say the ECOWAS Troops would have been deployed in Sierra Leone months ago and even top ranking ECOWAS soldiers were baffled for the delayed deployments as they had already prepared since May for the deployment in Sierra Leone to take place but were shocked when everything cooled down and movements halted for the June deployments. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

In one radio interview in Freetown a few weeks ago, one of the SLPP top-ranking military officers propagated that the ECOWAS soldiers who are coming to Sierra Leone are arriving mainly to carry out high-level training for the Sierra Leone military. That message was done deliberately to mislead the people. Meanwhile, Sierra Leoneans should be ready to welcome ECOWAS Forces on September 15, 2024 and should ignore any false information from SLPP/Paopas whose days are numbered. ECOWAS Chair President Ahmed Tinubu has warned: “We will definitely fight for democracy if there is any challenge in Sierra Leone.”

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
