As Bio Fails to Produce Results ECOWAS Officials Arrived to Urge Him to Implement UN’s Position; ECOMOG Cost US$2.5 Billion
Quick Summary
The last chance given to the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio to produce the June 24, 2023 elections has come and gone unfulfilled.
Reliable sources have intimated that Maada Bio has woefully failed to fulfil the request made by the United Nations Security Council through the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS, to produce the June 24, 2023 multi-tier elections which have been widely described by both national and foreign elections observers as unfair, not free, not credible, not transparent, not accountable and not peaceful. In short, the Electoral Justice being propelled nationally and internationally by the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara will soon succeed without a shadow of a doubt. Meanwhile, the full deployment of ECOMOG soldiers will happen soon to coincide with the full implementation of the Tripartite Committee recommendations submitted by the United Nations Security Council. The international community has put all the mechanisms for the full implementation of the Electoral Justice in Sierra Leone in place. The UN position is the same as the Reports submitted by the UN Co-Chair Seraphine Wakana and the Head of the Tripartite Secretariat Judge Kate Sullivan. Bio lost the June elections and RRF evidence proved that Dr Samura Kamara won it.
Electoral Justice is the choice of the people whose votes were publicly robbed by Julius Maada Bio on June 24, 2023 elections. The ECOWAS delegates, simply carrying out the stiff instructions of the United Nations Security Council have arrived in Freetown to make sure the Tripartite Committee recommendations endorsed by the global partners are implemented in full and also made actionable, according to the dictates of Resolution Three of the Terms Of Reference TOR signed by both SLPP regime and the main opposition APC party witnessed by ECOWAS, AU, Commonwealth and others. The APC leader Dr Samura Kamara, the main proponent of the Tripartite Investigations, is determined than ever before to usher Electoral Justice for the sake of the majority of suffering Sierra Leoneans. As a consequence of this popular dream, UN last week ordered ECOWAS to demand from Julius Maada Bio the results of the June 24, 2023 elections which declared him President even though he lost the elections. But so far, Bio and his corrupt Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL Chairman Mohamed Konneh have failed to release the results.
This blatant efforts and deliberate failure by the Bio presidency to cooperate, has ignited the prompt arrival of the high powered delegation ECOWAS to arrive in order to tell Maada Bio know the inevitable i.e. to get ready for the full implementation of the recommendations including the disputed Electoral Justice. Reports from Abuja say around 5000 ECOMOG soldiers will land in Freetown very soon to join their colleagues at the Lungi base. The expenditure that has been allocated to beef-up the ECOMOG troops is in the region of worth 2.5 billion United States dollars.
As we go to press, it is confirmed that most of the member states in the West African sub-region have contributed their own quota of army personnel into the ECOMOG line-up. This was agreed on during the last meeting of Heads of States in Abuja last week. The ECOWAS commission instructed the various Heads of the Armed Forces of member states to contribute so as to facilitate the deployment as soon as possible. Tripartite is working and those who still believe otherwise would soon see the reality happening. Dr Samura Kamara is the next President of Sierra Leone because he won the June 24, 2023 elections.
