As the so-called negotiations presided over by the Commonwealth begin today, we, the grassroots of the mighty APC, want to strongly advice Dr Samura Kamara and our party’s executive to stick unequivocally and unerringly to the positions espoused by the grassroots that the disaggregated polling stations results be released by ECSL, failing which the whole results of the June 24 elections must be annulled and a rerun staged under international supervision. This and only this is what we expect to hear from these negotiations. If APC sells out, even the United States will be angry with the APC. It is not for nothing that U.S. Ambassador David Reimer came out swinging. It is not for nothing that the U.S. suspended the MCC Compact. It is not for nothing that the U.S. has imposed a travel ban. It is not for nothing that the U.S. is planning more sanctions. ILLEGITIMACY MUST NEVER BE LEGITIMIZED. Maada Bio is used to getting away with bloodshed and criminality. APC helped Maada Bio come to power in 2018 and we, the grassroots know that and we have forgiven the culprits for the love of our party.

But if anybody (regardless of who you are) sells out again, the very people of Sierra Leone, who are the ones suffering the brunt of Bio’s wickedness and misrule, will be the ones who will come after that APC member. We too, the APC grassroots, will come after you and there will be no fury in Hell compared to what you will get from us. We are very serious. Our people have been slaughtered and their voices are crying out from the grave; Evangelist Sampson and all those murdered by Maada Bio at Tombo, Lunsar, Mile 91, Tonko, Makeni, Pademba Road Prisons, and the APC HQ must not die in vain. Their voices are crying out from the grave.

They want justice. Sierra Leoneans are suffering like dogs without owners under this tribalistic, conscienceless, and impunity government. They all want change. They will not be happy if APC allows Maada Bio to have his way in these negotiations and he is given legitimacy. If you let Maada Bio off the hook, he will do the worst and even 2028 will be much the same. Give Maada Bio one inch, he will go 10 miles. He is presently in serious trouble. Nobody wants to cooperate with him. Nobody wants to give him money or aid. He is not able to pay salaries; he is not able to pay the power ship providing electricity. The corrupt SLPP Government is running out of money.

That is why they are begging APC to negotiate. Una see da passport thief, Abass Bundu, dey threaten we MPs again? Den all don quiet because it is desperate. This is the best time to hit Maada Bio where it hurts for the benefit of our suffering country. APC must remember that if we had been in their position, SLPP would not have compromised with us. APC must stick to our guns. Nothing must make APC water down or change our demands. We, the grassroots, have spoken. So let it be. No granting of legitimacy to Maada Bio. Just watch. Bio is coming to lie to the UN that he has started negotiating as demanded and everything is going fine in Sierra Leone. Lies and deceit are the stock-in-trade of Maada Bio. APC, we are all watching. No legitimacy to illegitimacy.
