The Premier League refs could learn a lot from watching this tournament.

Oncha: Ivory Coast have just shown that having all these high profile managers is not what national teams need for successful campaign. They only need a guy who understands both football and his players. Emerse Fae may just have changed the face of national team coaching.

A flag is handed over to a representative from Morocco as the north Africa country will host Afcon in 2025. Ivory Coast’s president has joined the team on the pitch. We have had tough times. Hosting this tournament was incredible and the players have realised how important this was for the country. The people of Ivory Coast love their football and deserve this cup.
