UN Publicly Questions the Constitutionality of Bio’s SLPP Regime & Endorses the Full Implementation of Tripartite
Quick Summary
The United Nations Security Council UNSC has publicly questioned the constitutional legitimacy of Julius Maada Bio’s SLPP regime in Sierra Leone.
Yesterday, the United Nations Security Council indirectly but publicly criticised Maada Bio’s Sierra Leone but lavished praises on George Weah’s Liberia. In a stark contrast to neighbouring Liberia where President George Manneh Weah successfully conducted free, fair, credible, transparent and accountable elections on October 10, 2023, in Sierra Leone on June 24, 2023, the world witnessed the most undemocratic, violent, unfree, unfair elections in the country’s history. In the entire sub-region of West Africa, the only nation that came close to Maada Bio’s undemocratic tyranny is Guinea Bissau. What a bad record for Maada Bio to emulate. Comparably, Liberia was praised beyond recognition at the United Nations Security Council in New York yesterday in the presence of world leaders as outgoing President Weah received accolades for his exemplary show of statesmanship during the elections in Liberia which his political opponent President-Elect Joseph Baokai narrowly won. Yet, George Weah congratulated President-Elect Baokai, a move that brought in more admiration for President Weah. “In Liberia George Weah exhibited his democratic credentials resulting into constitutional legitimacy,” a UN representative noted yesterday. The UN was categorical in its support for ECOWAS to oversee security and constitutionality in West Africa.
Unlike glorious Liberia, Sierra Leone under the blood-thirsty Maada Bio and his gang of SLPP thugs unleashed mayhem on innocent voters hitherto unknown in Sierra Leone history, thus ushering in an illegitimate regime. From the beginning of the electoral process in Sierra Leone, Maada Bio polluted every step of the way until the final day of the fraudulent elections on June 24, 2023 and on June 27, 2023, the corrupt chairman of the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL Mohamed Kenewui Konneh announced the elections result even without the completion of the tabulation process. That singular undemocratic action by ECSL brought in serious credibility problems. Uproar surfaced everywhere because of the fraudulent June 24 elections as the EU, UK, US, NEW, ECOWAS, AU others came out in full force to express their disappointment in the chaotic June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections. In the midst of the topsy-turvy situation, the Peace Dialogue was born on October 18, 2023 in Freetown that produced the Communique and eventually the Tripartite Committee designed to investigate the June 24, 2023 electoral mess that ushered in Maada Bio by illegitimate means. The UN was categorical in its support for ECOWAS to oversee security and constitutionality in West Africa.
Yesterday, the Communique was tabled at the UN Security Council for the full implementation of the Tripartite recommendations when the probe shall have been completed. This is definitely bad news for Bio’s 2028 slaves as UN endorses Tripartite’s full implementation. United Nations representatives reiterating the full Implementation of the Tripartite recommendations is concise and worrying trend for Maada Bio. Yesterday’s meeting at the UNSC in New York was good news for the APC Flagbearer Dr Samura Kamara and for all patriotic Sierra Leoneans. The UN was categorical in its support for ECOWAS to oversee security and constitutionality in West Africa.
However, Maada Bio, like his 2028 blind supporters are left in terrible pain after they heard the UN representatives indirectly but publicly criticising Maada Bio’s fraudulent elections, while Liberia was praised. The comparison was a blow to Maada Bio. The United States representative and others reiterated the post elections tensions in Sierra Leone, and suggested for the full implementation of the post elections communique. Later, in closed-doors, the UNSC representatives debated Sierra Leone in to detail. The UN was categorical in its support for ECOWAS to oversee security and constitutionality in West Africa.
