Global Partners Boycott of Parliament Clearest Sign to Signal End of Illegal Bio’s Era; First Time Foreign Envoys Snubbed Parliament; Bio is a Dead Man Walking
Quick Summary
Why did the international community boycott the State Opening of Parliament of the 4th Session of the 6th Parliament of the 2nd Republic of Sierra Leone? Has Bio’s power gone?
These questions are raised because many Sierra Leoneans have not noticed the absence of foreign ambassadors during the ridiculous opening of Parliament in Freetown last week, August 7, 2026. The SLPP/Paopa PROs have kept quiet about it due to shame and shock. (Photo: Illegal President Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, in parliament).
However, the vigilant reporters of the Organiser newspaper on the ground are reminding patriotic Sierra Leoneans inside and outside the country about the significance of the boycott by the foreign ambassadors, leaving the illegal President Maada Bio and his APC slaves in total embarrassment.
It is not that the Bio regime, through its Foreign Ministry, did not invite the ambassadors to attend the opening of the House of Parliament. The invitations were sent, but the foreign envoys, fully aware of the illegitimacy of Bio’s regime, decided to boycott the corrupt parliament. (Photo: Last week the foreign envoys were absent).

There is only one plausible reason why the Bio presidency, the House of Parliament and other internal stakeholders have been so publicly humiliated by the international partners. In short, the world has come to the conclusion that Maada Bio’s days are numbered because he did not win the June 24, 2023 election.
This is the first time envoys have publicly snubbed Bio’s parliament. Last year, we all saw the disgraced US ambassador Bryan David Hunt, the respectable EU envoy Manuel Muller, the UK High Commissioner Lisa Chesney, the UN Rep Seraphine Wakana, the Russian, Irish, ECOWAS, and the AU envoys in attendance.
This time, the foreign ambassadors were conspicuously absent because of the position they took and continue to take to highlight the powerlessness of Bio’s illegal regime. Even during Bio’s speech in the House, you could see the panic and shock on his face. (Photo: Last year, the foreign envoys were present).

Those present were equally ashamed that foreign envoys had snubbed Maada Bio’s parliament last week, even though sources say they were invited the usual way, but they decided to reject the useless invitation.
This is a clear indication that the restoration of democracy is a must. It is just a matter of time before the illegitimacy of Bio is halted through forceful removal of Bio to pave the way for the restoration of the people’s mandate by swearing in the president-elect, Dr Samura Kamara.
The boycott of parliament by the international community last week has sent a clear message to Maada Bio and the traitorous APC executives that the power of the SLPP/Paopa regime has finally gone. Electoral justice and the restoration of democracy campaigners have won the war.
