It is not that the Bio regime, through its Foreign Ministry, did not invite the ambassadors to attend the opening of the House of Parliament. There is only one plausible reason why the Bio presidency, the House of Parliament and other internal stakeholders have been so publicly humiliated by the international partners. In short, the world has come to the conclusion that Maada Bio’s days are numbered because he did not win the June 24, 2023 election.

This is the first time envoys have publicly snubbed Bio’s parliament. Last year, we all saw the disgraced US ambassador Bryan David Hunt, the respectable EU envoy Manuel Muller, the UK High Commissioner Lisa Chesney, the UN Rep Seraphine Wakana, the Russian, Irish, ECOWAS, and the AU envoys in attendance.

The boycott of parliament by the international community last week has sent a clear message to Maada Bio and the traitorous APC executives that the power of the SLPP/Paopa regime has finally gone. Electoral justice and the restoration of democracy campaigners have won the war.
