Inside sources have intimated that the atmosphere at the Lodge is sullen, quiet, and lacking lively buoyancy. The strange situation is becoming increasingly evident with each passing day as news of the imminent restoration of democracy gains momentum.

“The skeletal appearance of Maada Bio is a serious cause for concern, as well. And the grimace that has now taken over his once smiling face has only exacerbated the hopelessness of the workers at the lodge. We are feeling that power has gone away from him,” an observant staff member informed the Organiser.

A former staff member at the Presidential Lodge once confided that when power is leaving the government of the day, you will feel it, smell it, and you will see that everyone is grumpy, sulky, depressed, and disappointed at the Lodge. This is the exact situation today at the Presidential Lodge. Yet, there are blind SLPP Paopa supporters and their accomplices in the main opposition APC party leadership, including those in the APC 6th Region, who are totally oblivious to the facts and figures and in complete denial of the restoration of democracy.

The fact of the matter is that the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Maada Bio is really suffering at the moment because power has finally slipped away slowly and is now at the end of his tether. He is only playing mind games to fool the foolhardy. Two main reasons are responsible for Maada Bio’s powerlessness.

The ongoing Tripartite Agreement that has darkened the walls at State House and the State Lodge, sending panic chills down Bio’s spine, is the first major bottleneck affecting the powerless Maada Bio and his slaves in the APC party leadership.

Secondly, and the most worrying problem affecting Bio is his health condition, which is deteriorating daily. Bio, presently nursing cancer, which has spread from his infected right leg, will die if the leg is not amputated. Today, Bio has resorted to intensive prayer to salvage his soul. True electoral justice fighters are confident of the success of the Tripartite Agreement. Those who have run away and continue to run away from the Tripartite blessing shall soon be caught off guard, never having experienced Sierra Leone’s political topsy-turvy.

Shock and surprise will grip the doubters very shortly. It is just a matter of time before the manna drops from heaven. The reliable international community is serious about the restoration of democracy, and its relentlessness is undeniable, as is its determination to usher in democracy in the shortest possible time.

Nevertheless, there are many Sierra Leoneans inside and outside the country whose belief in the electoral justice process is shaken, some slightly and some wobbling profusely as time goes by. Whatever their situation, Sierra Leoneans should be reassured that restoration of democracy is a must.

Amid this hopefulness of the President-elect taking up power, it is clear that the evil, illegitimate President Maada Bio is suffering from ill health like nobody’s business. Coupled with a losing grip on power thanks to the Tripartite Agreement, the Bio presidency is panicking, seeing the exit writing on the wall.
