Tripartite Investigators Start Work Today as Hope Raised; Julius Maada Bio’s Fake Coup Will Not Retard It
Quick Summary
There is hope on the horizon as the Tripartite Investigations Committee starts work today despite the hurdles created by the illegal Bio regime.
The November 26, 2023, fake coup hatched by Maada Bio is not a retardation. Democrats believe the successful completion of the Tripartite Investigations will usher in the much-needed people’s mandate of June 24, 2023, that was publicly stolen by the illegitimate Bio regime. The November 26, 2023, Freetown disturbance was initially described by the illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio and the Chief of Defence Staff Lt Col Patrick Lavahun and other big SLPP guns as a ‘security breach’ but later changed as to ‘coup d’etat’ has now been found to be a fake coup designed to frustrate the Tripartite investigations. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee. The fake coup was orchestrated by the Maada Bio regime to divert attention from the Tripartite Investigations Committee set up on October 18, 2023, during the three-day Dialogue conference to probe the fraudulent June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. Today, the people of Sierra Leone will breathe a sigh of relief when the 21-man Tripartite Investigators are expected to begin their work to investigate the chaotic June 24, 2023 polls which were stolen by the incumbent President Bio in connivance with the crook chairman of the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL Mohamed Kenewui Konneh. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee.
The Three-Cross-Party Committee which constitutes seven officials from the SLPP regime, seven from the main opposition APC party and seven representatives from the international community, is considered by the voters as the only route to restore the democratic elections that Maada Bio stole on June 24, 2023. So far, Resolutions 1, 2, and 3 of the Communique have been implemented i.e. allowing the elected APC officials to take up their posts in governance. But the Bio presidency having realised the difficulty in the execution of Resolution 4 i.e. release of all political and elections detainees, the SLPP went on to concoct a fake coup on November 26 and then orchestrated a prison break when all prisoners escaped. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee. (Photo: During the Dialogue).

It was no coincidence that the fake coup happened a day before the expected release of prisoners. This criminality was done by the Bio regime to hide the fact that those already killed in prison were among those who had escaped. There is no justification for the missing detainees who had been summarily executed on Maada Bio’s orders. Thank goodness, the Tripartite Investigations Committee will today go into the probing of the stolen elections among other pertinent issues. The Committee will unravel all the fakeries and deceptions of the June 24 elections and the greatest beneficiaries would be the APC party and by extension the people of Sierra Leone. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee.
The corrupt and blood-thirsty Maada Bio is doing everything to intimidate the stakeholders. That is why the commencement of the Tripartite Committee today December 13 to probe the June 24 elections will come as a hammer blow to Maada Bio and his gang of SLPP electoral thieves. This good news was confirmed by the APC party Co-Chair of the Tripartite Investigations Committee Dr Keifala Marah after he recently met with the SLPP Co-chair Dr Gaima. The patriotic Dr Keifala Marah also revealed in his tweet that they would look into the Terms of Reference as the committee goes to work. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee.
Political observers believe Bio’s fake coup will not stop the Tripartite Investigators from probing the fraudulent June 24 polls. The global partners have reminded Bio that the June 24 elections are not free, fair and credible. Amid the stage-managed November 26 coup by the electoral thief Maada Bio, the international community has reiterated the urgent need for the continuation of the Tripartite Investigations into the June 24 elections stolen by Maada Bio. This clarion call for the June 24 probe has become pivotal following Bio’s fake coup which has temporarily halted the Tripartite Investigations. Sierra Leoneans’ only hope to restore the voters’ mandate is through the success of the Tripartite Committee.
