Transition Light Shines Brightly: Unelected President Bio Secretly Returns Home from Nigeria as Hopeful Citizens Apply Patience

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio has returned home secretly amid reports that the light in the transition tunnel is shining brightly by the hour.
Reports say the embattled President Bio returned home early yesterday morning around 5 a.m. after a week of political sojourn in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, where the secret meeting occurred. Maada arrived secretly, the same way he departed Freetown last week for Abuja. (Photo: President Tinubu welcomed Maada Bio).
It is not clear what transpired as Maada Bio was the special guest to the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS Commission, chaired by the Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Social media forums heralded photos of both Tinubu and Bio in odd positions. (Photo: Longest handshake explains it all).

The purpose of the Abuja visit last week by the electoral thief, Julius Maada Bio, was believed to be about the discussion surrounding the promotion of the peaceful democratic transition of power, among other reasons, which are yet to be verified and confirmed.
President Tinubu was seen on social media hosting the under-fire and illegal Sierra Leone President Bio at the Presidential Palace, popularly known as Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, where pertinent issues about the Sierra Leone situation were discussed.
In actual fact, the final agreement from the closed-door discourse meeting between ECOWAS Chairman Tinubu and Maada Bio is not known so far, even though reliable sources say it was a fruitful one centred around the democratisation of Sierra Leone. Today, Sierra Leoneans are eagerly waiting, though patiently, to know the outcome of the electoral justice quest to resolve the fraudulent June 24, 2023, elections. The 84 recommendations from the tripartite are being implemented in slow motion to facilitate electoral justice.
President-Elect Dr Samura Kamara, who got a commanding lead in the June 24, 2023, polls, netting 57.15% of the 71% RRFs in possession of the APC party, is expected to receive what is due him very soon. Competent sources say Maada Bio’s victory declared on June 27, 2023, by ECSL Chair Mohamed Konneh is not recognised as factual.
