Reports say, the doctor who did the surgery was shocked to learn about the sudden death of his patient Lt Kate. The doctor said the caesarean operation went well and even spoke with Kate yesterday morning on the phone shortly before he heard about her sudden death.

Speaking to distraught Captain Rtd Milton yesterday from his hiding place, he explained how his daughter Lieutenant Kate spoke to him a day before her death and told him that she was not feeling well and she even promised to call her father the next day. She never made the call.

Instead, Captain Milton Rtd received the shock of his life when he was told yesterday that he had lost his beautiful daughter, Lt Kate. What a sad day for the Milton family. Losing a child is no small thing. And losing a gallant, beautiful and loving daughter is even more painful.

May the soul of Lt Kate rests in perfect peace, Amen… It is pathetic for pregnant women to die in childbirth in Sierra Leone today under the corrupt Maada Bio presidency. The high level of corruption has impoverished the medical system in the country. May her soul rest in peace.

As a serving soldier before her sudden death, the Sierra Leone Armed Forces are expected to professionally take charge of Lieutenant Fatmata Bangura’s funeral and hopefully everything would be sorted to give Lt Kate a befitting burial.

Lieutenant Kate was also a third-year student at the University of Kenema. Lt Kate passed away at 10:00am yesterday February, 1^st 2025. It was another sad day for the Milton Family. Take heart and may her soul rests in perpetual peace. Meanwhile, the baby boy is doing well.
