Like all individuals and institutions around the world, sensible and honest politicians should never bypass the head cornerstone. In Sierra Leone today, the demand for Electoral Justice is paramount and all patriotic Sierra Leoneans believe Electoral Justice is the head cornerstone that should be rejected or by-passed. Otherwise, pandemonium will occur. This is the harsh reality that the illegitimate and useless Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio is trying to ignore for selfish reasons at the detriment of the nation. The implementation of the 80 Electoral Reforms agreed upon by both the SLPP regime and the APC party during the Tripartite Investigations process is vital but it would be impossible to be implemented if the bedrock of the fraudulent June 24, 2023 multi-tier elections i.e. Electoral Justice is not resolved. For Maada Bio to deliberately bypass the Electoral Justice, arguably the most important reason for the formation of the Tripartite Investigations Committee, has left fragile Sierra Leone on the edge of a new bloody war as the voters are angry.

Yet, the illegal Bio presidency who stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections is adamant and intentionally by-passing the significance of Electoral Justice. But due to the vigilance of the APC Council of Media Bloggers led by the patriotic social media blogger APC Malakai Duplicate and other vibrant media activists and journalists, the gullible citizens are being educated to diffuse the misinformation and disinformation being spread by Maada Bio and his SLPP agents of doom also comprising some traitorous APC officials and so-called members.

That is why, the President-Elect Dr Samura Kamara recently briefed the foreign Ambassadors in Sierra Leone about the importance of Electoral Justice which the electorates are yearning for and urgently demanding answers for. Dr Samura made it abundantly clear that the implementation of the 80 Electoral Reforms agreed by both parties will not only be meaningless and untimely, but its practicalisation will not work as long as the Electoral Justice is neglected.

The unmovable position by the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara was crystal clear. His message to the foreign Ambassadors who paid a courtesy call on the APC leader on Wednesday July 3, 2024 was succinct. “Without Electoral Justice, there will be no peace in the country,” Dr Samura, who won the June 24, 2023 elections, reiterated. That the 80 two-party agreement between the SLPP regime and the main opposition APC party is good but it is not necessarily the pivotal demand of the people whose votes were publicly stolen by Maada Bio in connivance with the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL led by Mohamed Konneh.

It is obvious Maada Bio is more concerned with the disbursement of the 485 million US dollars of the Millennium Challenge Corporation MCC money to his failed SLPP regime than anything else. And having told that the disbursement of the long-awaited cash is intrinsically linked with the implementation of the Tripartite Committee recommendations, this is more of the reason why Maada Bio is in a hurry to implement the Electoral Reforms process leaving out the most important subject i.e. Electoral Justice. Anything less than resolving the Electoral Justice impasse will only make the current volatile situation in the country explosive.

Political observers are of the fervent views that the Electoral Reforms would be far better for the achievement of peace and unity if the five remaining disputed Electoral Justice items raised by the APC Tripartite Committee members are given top priority. But Maada Bio is determined to move forward with the implementation of the 80 Electoral Reforms agreed by both parties without the five integral issues raised by the APC. Reports say the foreign Ambassadors listened carefully to Dr Samura Kamara’s position statement and agreed that they would make sure the people of Sierra Leone get the Electoral Justice they deserve.

But the tyrant leader Maada Bio even misused the services of the crook US Ambassador David Bryan Hunt to propagate the Electoral Reforms agenda during his recent AYV interview to authenticate the implementation process. But this diplomatic faux pas has been exposed as the people of Sierra Leone are determined than never before to see their priceless votes on June 24, 2023 respected and restored before anything else. “We will not relent until constitutional rule and democracy are brought back,” angry citizens warn the international community.
