President Boakai Speaks: “No One is Above the Law” Amid Cocaine Suspect Jewel’s Trial; Bio, Leijdekker, Others Linked; Power Transfer Nearby

Quick Summary

The Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has spoken for the first time since the drug trafficking case in Liberia with transnational connections began in Monrovia City Court.

President Boakai, in commenting on the ongoing drug trafficking case involving the former Vice President of Liberia, Madam Jewel Howard-Taylor, made it clear that no one is above the law. His comment comes amid reports that names linked to Sierra Leone have been mentioned. (Photo: President Boakai ready to clean Liberia, posed with Bio).

Sources close to the judicial system in Monrovia have intimated that the name of Sierra Leone’s illegal President Julius Maada Bio is linked to the ongoing cocaine case in Liberia, as well as his son-in-law Joseph Leijdekker aka Bolle Jos, whose name has been mentioned.

Other key Sierra Leone names in the SLPP and the APC parties and other sectors have also been linked to the Jewel Howard-Taylor matter, a terrible situation that has triggered the panic button into a frenzy in Sierra Leone. It means the drug net from Monrovia is spreading into Freetown.

Reliable sources say Madam Jewel, the wife of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, has not personally named Bio and Jos Leijdekker aka Bolle Jos or Omar Sheriff and others as the key players in the global cocaine network, but the Sierra Leone names have been mentioned in circles. (Photo: Jewel is not laughing in jail).

Sources say Jewel, who denied all the charges proffered against her person, is confident that the charges against her will be dropped because she believes in her innocence. It remains to be seen. She was arrested while boarding the flight from Roberts International Airport in Monrovia.

In Sierra Leone, the people are 100% of the belief that the illegal Sierra Leone President Bio and Europe’s most wanted drug fugitive Jos Leijdekker and others are the major players in the production, distribution and selling of illicit drugs around the world, including Liberia.

The main suspect, Jewel, is still behind bars as the drug trafficking and smuggling ring case unfolds in Monrovia City Court. Sierra Leoneans have welcomed the arrest, and hopefully, the FBI and other enforcement agencies will enter Sierra Leone for further investigations.

Meanwhile, the people of Sierra Leone are eagerly waiting for the restoration of democracy, as they believe that is the only solution to resolve the cocaine trade in the country and abroad. It is time for the President-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, to be sworn in any time from now because he won the June 24, 2023 elections, which Bio stole.

Liberia President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Speaks Out

“In recent days, the arrest and detention of former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor has understandably drawn national and international attention. I assure every Liberian, regional neighbours and international partners that former VP Jewel is being treated in full compliance with the constitution and laws of Liberia.

“She is presumed innocent and has access to legal counsel and is entitled to due process, which is upheld. The former Vice President had been arrested and charged in accordance with our legal procedures. It is not the President’s role to determine guilt or innocence.

“That responsibility belongs to our independent justice system. Our democracy would be measured not by how we treat those whom we agree but how faithfully we uphold the rights of every person who comes before the law.

“For those who have expressed concern, I say this: your concern is legitimate in a democracy. What kills or innocence must be determined by the court, not by politics, rumour, conjecture or public pressure.

“My administration will neither prosecute nor shield anyone because of political affiliation, office status, or influence. Whether one has held high office, served in government, led a business or lived as an ordinary citizen, the law must apply equally to all,” Boakai concludes.

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
