Luxembourg: EU to Tighten Screws on Bio’s Sierra Leone for Keeping Bolle Jos; Assets & Cash for Bio’s Family, EBK, APC Traitors Etc., to be Frozen from Today
The bad people of Sierra Leone, ranging from politicians, civil servants, SLPP police and military to other internal Kamajor stakeholders shall face the full brunt of EU sanctions shortly.
“Enough is enough,” the international community has echoed, to root out the bad eggs from among Sierra Leoneans in order to usher in a new Sierra Leone dotted with democracy, law and order, freedom, justice and development for all Sierra Leone citizens. The European Union Commission is the latest world body to tighten the financial sanctions and travel ban screws on the illegality of Julius Maada Bio. And today, Monday, October 12, 2026, the EU Commission will continue to pile further pressure on the illegitimacy of President Bio’s SLPP regime.
It is redemption time for the poor people of Sierra Leone who voted overwhelmingly for the president-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, in the June 24, 2023 elections. But since then, patriotic citizens backed by winner Dr Samura Kamara have stood firm to fight for electoral justice and to eliminate the drug networks.

Today, in Luxembourg, the EU Commission will officially approve more drastic economic sanctions on Bio’s Sierra Leone, a regime that trades in narcotics, drug trafficking and provides 24/7 protection for Europe’s most wanted drug fugitive and killer Joseph Leijdekker, aka Bolle Jos, alias Omar Sheriff, hiding in Sierra Leone.
Bio’s senseless refusal to extradite Chubby Jos, his son-in-law, to his homeland in the Netherlands, despite many requests by the Dutch government, has inflamed the bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands, thereby damaging the multilateral relations with the 27 EU countries.
Now, from today, the EU Commission will target assets and private bank accounts of the Bio family and other bad Sierra Leoneans who continue to aid and abet the illegal operations of Bolle Jos’ cocaine smuggling networks inside Sierra Leone and around the world. The drug family called the Bios have amassed mouth-watering wealth in foreign currencies from cocaine deals led by Bio’s son-in-law Omar Sheriff and have invested millions of dollars’ worth of private investments in Fatima Jabbe Bio’s home, The Gambia. Lebanon, Turkey, etc. also have hidden riches by the Bios.
The majority of Sierra Leoneans who are suffering today beyond comprehension have welcomed the EU measures being taken against the Bio family, the APC party traitors, former president evil Ernest Bai Koroma and other wicked compatriots. Freezing assets and money will hurt Bio’s family and other bad people.
EU Eyes Sanctions Against Bio and His Network
By EU correspondent Alexander Bakker
The Netherlands is reportedly pushing to fast-track the process in Brussels. EU foreign ministers are heading to Luxembourg on Monday, October 12, 2026, to hash out a sanctions framework that could target criminal networks like the one run by Omar Sheriff. This follows the meeting of EU Justice and Home Affairs ministers on 1 October. (Photo: EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen).

The Netherlands continue pushing for stronger European action against organised crime and to speed up the sanctions process. The European Commission and High Representative rolled out this framework on July 9, 2026. It’s built to target serious organised crime, stuff like drug trafficking, money laundering, and smuggling migrants. If adopted, it would allow the EU to impose:
Asset Freezes: Funds and economic resources held within EU jurisdictions could be frozen, and EU persons and entities would be forbidden from making funds available to individuals listed under the regime. Travel Bans: Individuals listed under the regime could be prohibited from entering or transiting through EU member states.
International Reach: The framework is intended to address serious organised criminal activity originating outside the EU that threatens European security. If individuals are listed under the framework, they could face direct financial and travel restrictions in Europe. The message is becoming increasingly clear: protecting criminal networks could carry a high price.
