Lawless SLPP Rejects ECOWAS, UN, Commonwealth’s Advice; Signatures’ Ink Not Even Dry, Yet, Bio Insults the Global Partners

Quick Summary

The discredited rejection of the international moral guarantors’ press release by the illegal & lawless SLPP regime is odd, insulting but it is expected.

By nature and DNA, the Bio regime is lawless and disorderly. While the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio is wallowing in ignominy and shame for publicly rejecting the golden recommendation of the moral guarantors, the patriotic people of Sierra Leone who voted in 2023 have happily described it as good news. (Photo: Bio is protecting his corrupt ECSL Chair Edmond Alpha).

Even before the signatures’ ink had dried up, the disgraceful SLPP regime of Maada Bio has exposed its lawlessness and public display of insubordination by rejecting the moral guarantors’ electoral advice stated by the global partners in their press statement dated April 20, 2026.

Just one day after the ECOWAS lead delegate Aja Fatoumata Jallow-Tambajang, Ms Barrie Freeman from UNOWAS, and Mr Tanmaya Lal from the Commonwealth had appended their signatures on the electoral reforms document, the Bio clowns at the SLPP party have rejected it stupidly.

Interestingly, the recommended electoral agreement rejected by the myopic Bio regime was agreed upon by both the SLPP and the APC parties last week during the five-day consultative meetings with internal stakeholders supervised by the moral guarantors. (Photo: SLPP letter).

What is the electoral matter that triggered the proposed establishment of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Elections all about? This proposal by the moral guarantors will definitely see the total overhaul of the present corrupt SLPP Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone, ECSL.

But the illegal Bio presidency does not want their current and brutal ECSL Chairman Edmond Sylvester Alpha to lose his job because if the proposed Parliamentary Standing Committee is effected, that would be the end of Edmond Alpha and the nepotistic ECSL choices.

That is why Maada Bio had instructed his barbaric SLPP party officials through its sly chairman Batillo Songa to write yesterday’s letter to denounce and reject the proposal put forward by the international moral guarantors, which the SLPP regime and the traitorous APC leadership agreed to last week.

What a slap in the face of the international community, whose representatives spent nearly one week in Freetown on a follow-up mission to assess the status of the 80 tripartite recommendations. It clearly shows that the Bio regime is unhappy with the outcome. (Photos: SLPP Chair Batillo Songa and Maada Bio. And APC traitors).

The contentious issues, according to the SLPP party, for the rejection centre on the restructuring proposal of the highly inefficient ECSL, well noted for aiding and abetting the stealing of the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections.

This is fantastic news for electoral justice fighters who believe that the international community should implement the 4 divergent issues recommended by the APC party led by the President-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, that will see electoral justice effected and implemented.

An excerpt from the SLPP press statement dated April 21, 2026, reads: “After carefully reviewing the eight key points outlined by the international moral guarantors dated April 20, 2026, we wish to convey the following. On the establishment of a Parliamentary Standing Committee and the restructuring of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone, the SLPP strongly urges full respect for section 32(11) of the Constitution of Sierra Leone, which states, ‘In the exercise of any functions vested in it by the Constitution, the Electoral Commission shall not be subject to the direction or control of any person or authority.

“It is noted that Parliament cannot provide oversight authority over the administrative and professional operations of state institutions whose independence and impartiality have been expressly created by the Constitution or any other law. In the same way that Parliament cannot establish a Standing Committee to oversee the Judiciary, and the Anti-Corruption Commission and Audit Service Sierra Leone, it can equally not exercise such authority over the ECSL.” The letter was signed by the SLPP National Secretary General, Paran Umar Tarawally. (Photos: Mr Lal, Aja Fatoumata and Ms Freeman).

Thankfully, the hypocrites and parasites in the Bio presidency have come out publicly to name and shame themselves in the eyes of the international community and the 2023 electorate. It is so disgraceful for Bio to use his SLPP party to blast the moral guarantors for suggesting the reform of SLPP/ECSL slaves.

Bravo to the electoral justice champions who believe in the 2023 agenda led by the President-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, who won the June 24, 2023, elections stolen in broad daylight by the Bio thieves. This is another bitter lesson for ECOWAS, UNOWAS and the Commonwealth.

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
