Konneh Dumbfounded After ECOWAS Network of Elections ECONEC Asks for US$10M for 2023 Polls; Ghost Voter IDs

News

Abu Shaw London

14 November 2024

The two days close door consultations between ECONEC officials and ECSL commissioners in the capital Freetown ended embarrassingly for the latter.

All started well and as the reigning ECONEC President, Mohamed Kenewui Konneh thought the meeting would end well. How wrong he was! Scanty information leaked from the close door meeting between the ECOWAS Network of Electoral Commission ECONEC and the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL. An insider however revealed that it was not smooth sailing for the ECSL Chief Returning Officer Konneh. (Photo: Konneh has no integrity).

The ECSL boss and his bunch of criminal commissioners were left dumbfounded. Reports say during the meeting, ECONEC spent a substantial amount of time on the 10 million US dollars contributed by global partners led by the European Union. The colossal amount spent on the electoral process leading to the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections was not properly explained, according to the insider.

Specific mention was made about the terrible Voter Identification Cards which look more like ghost cards than normal ID Cards. Konneh’s Voter IDs did not have clear photos, no clear name prints. His IDs had female names given to males and vice versa. All kinds of dubious SLPP Paopa tactics were done on the ghost Voter IDs, all intended to steal the polls. Crook Mohamed Konneh was unable to give convincing answers to all the ECONEC questions. (Photos: ECONEC Logo and the ghost Voter ID).

The democracy destroyer Mohamed Konneh, who connived with the incumbent Julius Maada Bio to steal last year’s elections, was caught off guard when squeezed about the 10 million dollars meant for conducting the 2023 elections. Konneh was particularly astonished and visibly gobsmacked when the ghost Voter Identification Cards issue and where they were printed.

It was succinct after the end of the two-day meeting in Freetown that the ECSL Chairman Mohamed Konneh could not justify how he expended the 10 million dollars. ECSL, on the orders of the Bio presidency, tried hard to keep the minutes of the ECONEC meeting secret. The leaked information on the consultation, however, showed that it was not favourable for SLPP, otherwise, ECSL would not have kept it a secret from the public.

ECONEC is responsible for elections monitoring in the West African sub-region. Even though ECSL had downplayed the seriousness of their guilt by saying the meeting was a mere ‘Regional Symposium and General Assembly’ but the Tripartite Committee believers know the vitality of the meeting. In short, it is the ‘Actionable and Implementable’ phase in action now. (Photo: Illegal President Maada Bio and Dr Samura Kamara, right, the rightful winner).

This is a significant stage of the implementation of the 84 Recommendations including the four contentious issues also known as divergent areas submitted by the highly polluted and divided main opposition APC party led by the patriotic leader Dr Samura Kamara who is being maligned by his own APC executives widely dubbed as criminals, sell-outs and traitors to the voters.

The ECSL press release dated November 6, 2024 stated: “ECSL and ECONEC will meet from Monday 11 Nov to Tuesday 12 Nov, 2024 at the Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel, Aberdeen in Freetown. The theme is – The Role of Electoral Management Bodies is Promoting Information Integrity, as a vital component in safeguarding electoral processes.

Konneh was in a difficult position as the President of ECONEC who chaired the meet. He was trapped in an open cage where he tied and tangled himself without escape. Konneh knew he did not conduct last year’s elections freely, fairly, peacefully, credibly, transparently, and accountably. Konneh’s lack of integrity has plunged Sierra Leone in to the current impasse. Electoral Justice is in the air according to the inside source.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
