Julius Maada Bio, the illegal Sierra Leone President, had the effrontery to dodge the pivot of the launching ceremony i.e. failing to even mention the primary purpose of the Tripartite Committee which is to investigate the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections in his address. This was precisely what the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Maada Bio did during and in the aftermath of the launch and commencement of the Three-Cross-Party Investigations Committee work to look into the chaotic June 24, 2023 elections in Sierra Leone. Hours before the launch of the Tripartite Committee in Freetown, the Bio presidency started moving the goalpost by instructing State House through one Solomon Jamiru to suggest the inclusion of members of the Civil Society Organisations CSOs and other useless internal stakeholders into the Tripartite Committee through the back door, a blatant contravention to the Bintumani Communique or Agreement. Minutes after the bogus Jamiru press statement, an equally robust reaction came from the APC party through the indefatigable penman National Secretary General Lawyer Lansana Dumbuya who immediately challenged the SLPP letter demanding a retraction of the faux pas engineered by Maada Bio regarding the inclusion of the CSOs, corrupt Traditional Chiefs etc. The bogus SLPP letter also suggested that the unprofessional Sierra Leone Association of Journalists SLAJ should be included in the Tripartite Committee. Instead, the foolish Bio only mentioned the review of the electoral processes to strengthen future elections. Keen political observers believe the panic-stricken Maada Bio knowing full well that things are slipping away from his illegal SLPP regime, is playing tough by going against the very Agreement they signed namely Bio himself, the Global Partners and Dr Samura Kamara, leader of the main opposition APC party. It did not take long before the international community made it abundantly clear to the illegal Bio presidency that the Agreement signed on October 18, 2023, is a solid document that could not be altered. The fact is that all the signatories i.e. SLPP, the APC and the Global Partners have agreed for a Three-Cross-Party Committee to be set up to probe the chaotic June 24 elections which saw the SLPP Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL Chairman Mohamed Konneh connived with Bio to steal the people’s mandates.  “Not on our watch,” a diplomat told the Organiser newspaper to stress that the SLPP regime would not be allowed to change the agreement.

As Sierra Leoneans cogitate about the Solomon Jamiru nonsense letter, political observers believe the dying Maada Bio will not die without shaking his tail. Bio is reportedly wasting his time because there is no way he could shift the Dialogue goalpost to work in his favour this time around. Bio has always had an easy walk over the years, but this Tripartite Investigations Committee into the June 24 elections will be his Hercules heels if he dares tamper with it. There are other Sierra Leoneans who are already losing hope of a victory as they believe that Maada Bio will have his way again. Far from it. The confused.com Bio was disgraced as SLPP disobeyed the Tripartite Agreement but the international community stood their ground. The APC also stood firm. A forensic audit of the June 24, 2023 elections will be conducted by the international community. Only those who matter were given the platform to speak like Bio, VP Juldeh Jalloh, and David Sengeh who spoke for SLPP. Dr Samura, Dr Keifala Marah spoke for the APC. No place for CSOs, no place for the corrupt Chiefs etc. There is a saying that a weak giant would not die before shaking its tail.
