Fake APC Delegates Election by Expired APC Leaders; Shamed & Betrayed People’s Mandate of 2023; Posterity Shall Judge APC
Quick Summary
The most shameful and disgraceful APC Lower Level Elections were conducted over the weekend by the most deceptive and expired APC executives in Sierra Leone.
Besides undermining the ongoing June 24, 2023, elections, the sell-out APC executives have, over and above, destroyed the little confidence reposed in them by the electorate and the international community. The fake elections were marred by bloody violence and chaos. (Photo: Violence at the 90% boycotted APC lower-level elections).
And most importantly, the fake APC 2028 flag bearers monitored their handful of APC supporters in fisticuffs, disgracefully fighting and injuring each other in certain parts of the country where the boycotted Lower Level Elections took place, showing how low they have sunk. Around 90% of the polling stations were empty due to the massive boycott.
The APC Lower Level Elections conducted poorly and unfairly on February 21, 2026, by the unlawful and expired APC executives was a gimmick to fool themselves by pretending all is well in the APC camp and that they have moved on from 2023 and are firmly focused on 2028 elections.
What a myopic thought inside the little brains of the APC leadership and unpatriotic supporters. Sierra Leoneans are wise enough to know that the delegate elections over the weekend were fake, only intended to divert attention from electoral justice and the imminent restoration of democracy. (Photos: More injuries).

It was a distraction designed by the APC executives, sponsored by the SLPP regime of Julius Maada Bio, to stop the full implementation of the 85 Tripartite Recommendations. What a sad mistake by the useless APC leaders because the Tripartite Agreement is alive and kicking, thanks to the resilience of President-elect Dr Samura Kamara and the 2023 voters.
The good news that came out of the so-called Lower Level Elections to elect delegates is the fact that all the betrayers of democracy in Sierra Leone have exposed themselves further. Now, the Special Courts for Sierra Leone and the International Criminal Court ICC in Freetown have enough evidence to pursue these anti-democrats.

Avoid distractions. The lower-level elections cannot stop the ongoing restoration of our democracy in Sierra Leone for the June 24th, 2023, multi-tier stolen election results. The will of the people should reflect no moving forward without justice in our beloved nation, Sierra Leone. The message this morning to all grassroots supporters is to exercise patience. Dr Samura Kamara has won the fight, and everything is now left to the international partners. By Hassan APC Yonibana, Aunty Kadie USA Media, Tonkolili District, CAMB.

Lower-Level Elections Carried Out Without Lawful Mandate
The purported Lower Level Elections conducted by the illegal, ultra vires outgoing executives of the All Peoples Congress APC are null, void, and of no legal effect, having been carried out without lawful mandate, due process, or procedural compliance. It is an undisputed fact that ward contenders duly paid the prescribed candidature fees and submitted passport photographs for inclusion on ballot papers. However, the IEMC, acting in breach of electoral best practices and natural justice, failed to incorporate these details and instead printed faceless ballot papers, thereby vitiating the integrity of the electoral process.
Further, documented video evidence reveals systematic disenfranchisement of paid-up members nationwide, alongside public disorder, violent clashes, and bodily harm in several wards, acts that constitute gross violations of internal party regulations, constitutional principles of participation, and fundamental human rights. Accordingly, we, the reformers, do hereby vehemently condemn the said elections and formally challenge the fraudulently proclaimed outcomes and reserve the right to seek administrative, regulatory, and judicial remedies as provided by law.

APC Under Siege from Within: A Grassroots Warning Before It Is Too Late
By Komeh Tonkolili, Secretary General, APC, Australia Branch
What is currently happening in the APC ward elections across Sierra Leone is not just disappointing; it is a direct threat to the future of the party. The entire process has been characterised by manipulation, lack of transparency, favouritism, and deliberate exclusion of genuine grassroots members.
Let the truth be told without fear: These ward elections are neither free, nor fair, nor credible. The greatest responsibility for this failure lies with the current National Executive, who have abdicated their duties and allowed the party structure to be captured by selfish interests. The National Executive instructed us to mobilise and register members at the grassroots level for the ward elections.
We obeyed faithfully and invested our time, energy, and personal resources. In Constituency (051) Matotoka, I personally registered over 650 APC supporters. Many other members also registered hundreds more across the constituency. This was done with sincerity and dedication because we believed in strengthening the party ahead of 2028.

But when the membership cards were released, hundreds of legitimate members were excluded. Only a select few received cards, mostly individuals aligned with certain power groups. This was not a logistical error. It was organised manipulation. Genuine APC supporters who sacrificed their time and resources were denied participation in the very elections they helped to build.
Meanwhile, individuals who did little or nothing suddenly appeared with membership cards and voting rights – This is a betrayal of the grassroots. Complaints were formally raised to district leadership, including Chairman Sam Bangura and the district deputy leadership, yet no serious action was taken. The silence and inaction from leadership clearly show either incompetence or deliberate complicity.
The situation in Tonkolili District, particularly in Matotoka, has exposed a dangerous culture within the party where loyalty to individuals is placed above loyalty to the APC. The politics of “Team A vs Team B” has poisoned the internal democratic process. Instead of building unity after the 2023 elections, the current leadership has deepened divisions.
This kind of politics is outdated and destructive. We are living in a modern political era where information spreads quickly. Members are educated and politically aware. The days when a few individuals could secretly manipulate party structures are over. The leadership must understand this reality. (Expired Freetown Mayor Aki-Sawyerr, with only her bodyguards voting at the empty polling station).

It is now clear why internal reform movements emerged in the APC. Many people once dismissed those voices, but today their warnings are becoming reality. The APC must not forget the painful lessons that followed the internal crises that weakened the party before. Disunity, manipulation, and injustice at the grassroots level always translate into defeat at the national level.
If this current trend continues, the APC risks walking blindly into another defeat in 2028. This is not a threat; it is a warning from someone who has spent years struggling for this party. Some of us built this party from the days of student activism and political struggle. Our commitment to APC is not temporary and cannot be questioned. We remain loyal to APC. But loyalty does not mean silence.
Loyalty means defending the party when it is under attack, even when the attack comes from within. What is happening in the ward elections across the country is a systematic attempt to control the party structure through manipulated membership and selective card distribution. This is dangerous. If delegates are selected through fraud, then conventions will be controlled by fraud.
If conventions are controlled by fraud, then leadership will emerge through fraud. And if leadership emerges through fraud, the party will go into national elections divided and weakened. That is a guaranteed path to defeat. It is a national embarrassment that senior officials who claim to be educated and experienced have allowed such confusion and manipulation to take place. Leadership is not about titles and academic degrees. (Photo: Ade Macauley in the empty polling station).

Leadership is about fairness, responsibility, and integrity. The current situation is a serious disgrace to the APC. Let it be clearly understood: Many committed members are losing confidence in the current executive. Grassroots supporters feel abandoned and cheated. This anger is real. This frustration is growing. And if it is ignored, it will explode. From this point forward, we will begin to speak openly and publicly about what is happening inside the APC.
The grassroots will not remain silent while the party is destroyed from within. If these irregularities are not corrected before the National Convention, some of us will have no choice but to seek justice through lawful means. We do not want confrontation. We do not want court action. But if the integrity of the party continues to be violated, we will defend the APC constitution and the rights of members by every legal means available. History will judge this moment.
If APC fails again in the next national elections, the responsibility will lie with those who manipulated the grassroots and ignored genuine members. The APC belongs to its members, not to a small group of power brokers. This is not rebellion. This is a rescue mission. Save APC before it is too late.
