The ECOWAS Mission Sierra Leone, otherwise known as ECOMISIL, is the latest target on the binoculars of the bribery-pronged Bio’s regime, according to leaked information from many sources. Whether the ECOMISIL troops would be another Bio conquest remains to be seen. But keen political analysts are very certain it is going to be an impossible task for Maada Bio to achieve in the present circumstances. Notwithstanding ECOWAS’ attempt to thwart any corrupters, the plans by the Bio presidency are in advanced stage to corrupt the ECOMISIL troops who are expected to arrive in Sierra Leone between September 15, 2024 and 30th September, 2024. Since April 4, 2018 when Maada Bio succeeded President Ernest Bai Koroma of the APC government, Bio’s SLPP regime had resorted to bribery and corruption. His latest plans to bribe ECOWAS Mission Sierra Leone ECOMISIL troops with the sum in the region of US6M dollars is no surprise.

It is already confirmed that 5,000 troops will land in Sierra Leone by the end of next month at the Lungi Depot near Lungi International Airport, the main base of the ECOMISIL Stabilisation Forces. And 1,200 mechanised battalion troops will be deployed at the ECOMISIL Headquarters in the capital Freetown around Murray Town/Aberdeen axis. The other two bases will be Hastings Town and Kerry Town selected as strategic bases to house the more ECOMISIL soldiers.

Kerry Town is located about 31 kilometres (19 miles) from the capital, Freetown, which lies to the west-north-west. And Hastings Town lies approximately 15 miles east of Freetown. This good news has obviously uplifted the spirits and enthusiasm of the suffering Sierra Leone electorates who were robbed of their priceless votes last year thanks to Maada Bio who stole the elections in broad daylight with the help of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL Chair Mohamed Kenewui Konneh. Impeccable sources have confirmed that the Bio presidency is determined to bribe and corrupt the ECOMISIL soldiers upon arrival to divert their attention from their main ECOWAS mission i.e. to restore Electoral Justice in Sierra Leone. Social media activists of the Council of APC Media Bloggers led by APC Malaka Duplicate and Ambassador Alie have disclosed that Maada Bio, upon his disappointing trip from America, has convened all the heads of his failed regime to a recent secret meeting.

Sources say, desperado Maada Bio has accused his Ministers and heads of Departments and Agencies of abandoning the fight and sternly urged them to help him by contributing 10,000 US dollars each to raise the 6 million dollars cash intended to be used for the ECOMISIL bribery and corruption agenda. Frankly speaking, Maada Bio and his SLPP bandits are irritated since the news broke out that ECOWAS Heads of States and ECOWAS Chiefs of Defence Staff have approved the ECOMISIL deployment. Yet, the SLPP/Paopas continue to deceive their gullible supporters.

If according to the SLPP Vuvuzelas that the ECOMISIL soldiers are coming to protect Maada Bio’s regime, then there is no need for Maada Bio to worry about bribing and corrupting the ECOMISIL peacekeeping forces. But the persistent reports of Bio planning to institute ways and means to lure ECOMISIL troops on his side in the wrong ways are indicative of the hidden facts that Maada Bio knows the true intentions of their arrival in September. Bio is conversant with the reality on the ground. He knows that the primary reason for ECOMISIL deployment is for Electoral Justice.

Sierra Leone political virus Maada Bio knows that ECOMISIL are coming to fully monitor and supervise the implementation of the Tripartite Committee recommendations endorsed by the United Nations Security Council, especially the five Contentious Issues centring around Accountability i.e. Electoral Justice. Even the intended six million US dollars target to bribe ECOMISIL troops will not stop the realisation of Electoral Justice. Meanwhile, social media activists Northwest and Mrsta Salone have also revealed that Bio has also bought weapons from Turkey to fight ECOMISIL where necessary.
