ECOWAS Electoral Experts in Freetown to Grill Crook Konneh; Actionable and Implementable Stage Starts Today & Tomorrow

News

Abu Shaw London

11 November 2024

The much overused phrase 'Actionable and Implementable' will start today in earnest in Freetown as Sierra Leone voters patiently wait for electoral justice.

This vital stage of the Tripartite process will commence in Freetown, with experts from the ECOWAS Network of Electoral Commission ECONEC responsible for elections monitoring in the West African sub-region are present. Reports have confirmed that the meeting between the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone’s ECSL and ECONEC will last for two days.

Even though ECSL is downplaying the seriousness of their guilt by saying the meeting today and tomorrow is a mere ‘Regional Symposium & General Assembly’ meeting, keen followers of the Tripartite Committee process know the vitality of this meeting as it is more than meets the eye. In short, it is the much heralded ‘Actionable and Implementable’ phase in action.

This is a significant stage of the implementation of the 84 Recommendations including the four contentious issues also known as divergent areas submitted by the highly polluted and divided main opposition APC party led by the patriotic leader Dr Samura Kamara who is being maligned by his own APC executives widely dubbed as traitors to the voters. Today’s development brings to mind the almighty Resolution 3 of the Peace Dialogue signed last year, which clearly touched on the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections among other electoral processes. It was succinct that Dr Samura Kamara won last year’s polls but was publicly stolen by the incumbent Julius Maada Bio with the help of the crooked ECSL.

Both national and international institutions criticised ECSL Chief Electoral Returning Officer Mohamed Kenewui Konneh and his corrupt ECSL cronies describing the outcome of the polls as not free, not fair, not credible, not peaceful, not transparent and not accountable. Fierce criticisms particularly came from the ECOWAS Elections Observer Misson.

Other critics include the African Union Elections Observers, the European Union Elections Mission, the Carter Center and the National Elections Watch NEW and so on. As a result, Maada Bio has not received any congratulatory messages from world leaders and thereby crippling the Bio presidency of financial and moral assistance. Sierra Leone is now bankrupt. This current situation has exacerbated the hard times for most citizens. Tripartite is now the only hope for electoral justice to occur and, thanks to the United Nations Security Council, ECOWAS has been given the mandate to restore democracy in Sierra Leone. The meeting today is part of the implementation stage where ECSL will be grilled to answer to pertinent questions as to how they arrived at declaring last year’s elections.

Mohamed Konneh and his corrupt commissioners are in hot waters for what has happened since June 24, 2023 polls. And Maada Bio has consistently said he should not be blamed as he was declared president by ECSL, which gives the impression that he is not at fault, even though everyone knows that Bio is the brain behind the elections fraud. That is why the ball is in the court of Mr Konneh.

Sierra Leone electorates are today welcoming ECONEC and urged them to grill ECSL as voters are yearning for electoral justice as soon as possible to prevent an upheaval that would retrogress the country into a new bloody civil war in Sierra Leone. The two day’s meeting is important to achieve democracy and constitutional rule.

The press release by ECSL dated November 6, 2024 stated: “ECLS and ECONEC will meet from Monday 11 Nov to Tuesday 12 Nov, 2024 at the Radisson Blu Mammy Yoko Hotel, Aberdeen in Freetown. The theme for the meeting is – The role of Electoral Management Bodies is promoting information integrity, as a vital component in safeguarding electoral processes.” Konneh as President of ECONEC and chairing the meeting makes no difference.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
