The secret combat training being carried out by the Maada Bio regime is the latest information reaching this newspaper. Sources say the illegal SLPP regime is in a panic as news becomes imminent that the West African countries are on the verge of deploying ECOWAS forces in Sierra Leone.

The deployment of foreign forces at the designated ECOWAS Logistics Centre in Lungi is an international effort agreed by West African nations and endorsed by global partners. Sierra Leone is a signatory to the deployment of troops to provide security in the sub-region.

Presently, the ECOWAS Logistics at Lungi Depot is completely ready to accommodate the deployment of the ECOWAS forces. That is why the nefarious plans by the violent-oriented Bio regime to train Kamajor militias to undermine the deployment of foreign forces at Lungi Depot are among the most stupid decisions being bandied around in the SLPP colony. All geared towards stopping the deployment.

Reports say many security officers working at the Queen Elizabeth 2nd Water Quay in Freetown have been secretly recruited and transported to militia training camps in the southeast to train to derail the ECOMOG deployment, apparently designed to provide security for the sub-region.

But the effort of Maada Bio will fail. No amount of secret training by the Kamajor Paopa militias to betray the deployment of ECOWAS peacekeeping forces in Sierra Leone will stop the transition of democracy process. The swearing-in of the president-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, winner of the June 24, 2023 polls, is a must.

As the local vernacular saying goes, ‘Den Faint Late,’ meaning the bad people (Bio’s regime) have failed to take action on time, it is clear that there is no one who will halt the deployment of ECOWAS forces in Lungi. Consequently, the political transition of power from the illegitimate Maada Bio to the legitimate Dr Samura Kamara will take place at any time now.
