On Tuesday June 4, 2024, the international visitors are arriving in Sierra Leone primarily to examine the various resolutions born out of the National Peace and Unity Dialogue Communique signed by both internal and external stakeholders on October 18, 2023 at the Bintumani Hotel in Freetown. Unfortunately, the main host Julius Maada Bio, the illegal Sierra Leone President has suddenly taken a French leave to escape from the grilling of the Communique Resolutions including Tripartite Committee. Also, planning to flee the country is the presidential running mate of the main opposition APC party Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah aka Chericoco who is equally cowardly and afraid to confront the global partners grilling regarding the Tripartite and the other Resolutions. The signatories to the historic document include representatives from the SLPP regime led by David Sengeh, the APC party led by Dr Samura Kamara and witnessed by the development partners. Eight Resolutions were included in the Peace Communique with time frame scheduled for its implementation.

The international partners on the Peace Dialogue chaired by the former Vice President of Gambia Aja Fatoumata C.M. Jallow-Tambajang are coming to Sierra Leone to find out how the implementations of all the eight Resolutions have been going on. It was at the end of the Dialogue last year that the 8 Resolutions were agreed upon and entered in the Communique. Before they left, the global partners advised the SLPP representatives led by David Sengeh and the APC party representatives led by Dr Samura Kamara to abide by the Communique Resolutions. Resolution 1 i.e. (Bio to Address the Nation and Dr Samura Kamara to follow suit) was done; Resolution 2 i.e. (Elected APC Officials to Join the bogus SLPP Regime) was done; Resolution 3 i.e. (Formation of the Tripartite Committee to Investigate the Fraudulent June 24, 2023 Elections) is going on; Resolution 4 i.e. (The Release of All Political and Electoral Detainees) was not done. Resolutions 5, 6, 7 and 8 complete the Peace Communique. Resolution 4 was chaired by Chericoco but he failed woefully to free a single prisoner. Now Alhaji Osman Foday Yansaneh is rightly chairing Resolution 4 Committee.

The global partners are at this juncture coming on Tuesday for a three-day conference to grill the SLPP and APC representatives to find out the progress of the 8 Resolutions and whether they have been implemented or not. The foreign visitors will be in Sierra Leone from June 4 to June 7. And Chericoco, chairing Resolution 4 – meant for the release of political and electoral prisoners – is scared to face the delegates because he has not done anything to free even one detainee up to the time he was replaced by Pa Yansaneh. Chericoco has obviously dug his own grave and since Maada Bio took power in 2018, he has been Bio’s errand boy. Chericoco is an enemy of the country.

As the former chairman of Resolution 4 Committee, Chericoco has proved beyond all reasonable doubts that he is a traitor who had betrayed the people for failing to help release even a single prisoner despite his close connections with the Bio presidency. Chericoco’s negative attitude towards democracy was exhibited the very night of the signings when he hid in the toilet in order to avoid appending his signature on the Dialogue Communique document. Since then, Chericoco and his wicked god father Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray Chairman of the APC Party and other traitors have escalated their hatred for the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara and democracy and the suffering people of Sierra Leone. So, from Tuesday June 4 to Friday June 7, the delegation will examine those responsible for the various Resolutions and to know which of them has been fulfilled and which are not. Chericoco having realised the danger hanging over his coco-nut head, he has decided to run away faster than necessary from the foreign visitors to escape scrutiny. Also in hot waters is Maada Bio who has absconded abroad in a fruitless visit to South Korea. This is not the first time Maada Bio has ran away from important foreign visitors. During the visit of the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court ICC Mr Karim Khan this year, coward Maada Bio left the country for many weeks. Bio returned only after the ICC boss had left the country.

This time around, there will be no hiding place for Maada Bio and Chericoco and all the bad Sierra Leoneans who continue to undermine democracy in the country. Sierra Leoneans will welcome the international visitors next week led by Aja Fatoumata C.M. Jallow-Tambajang, the Gambian politician and activist who served as Vice-President of the Gambia and Minister of Women’s Affairs from February 2017 to June 2018, under President Adama Barrow. If Chericoco as head of Resolution 4 could not free his own personal security APC Sheriff from Pademba Road Prisons, what on earth would Chericoco do to help other detainees. Chericoco is indeed a devil incarnate and hater of democracy.
