Bio’s Double Knock-Out, i.e. ECOWAS & ICC Losses; Derail Democracy & Misuse Karim Khan to Delay ICC Indictment; Khan’s Sacking Won’t Stop Bio’s Case
Quick Summary
Sierra Leone’s illegal President Maada Bio is a shrewd political operator, a criminal of low IQ who stupidly likes to misuse individuals and institutions.
The cocaine king Julius Maada Bio will often dump the misused and manipulated, namely the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS Commission in Abuja, Nigeria, and the International Criminal Court ICC in The Hague, and many other persons and institutions. Former Chief Prosecutor of the ICC, Karim Asad Ahmad Khan KC, is the latest victim of Maada Bio’s selfish manipulation. Bio was born to survive by any means necessary, and he did everything within his power to misuse Karim Khan KC by allegedly dishing out cocaine cash, which allegedly delayed the indictment of the human rights abuser called Bio.
Also, Maada Bio made sure he exploited the loopholes in the then-discredited ECOWAS to aid and abet his evil plans to derail the democratisation of Sierra Leone despite losing the June 24, 2023 elections, which he publicly stole from the real winner, Dr Samura Kamara.
Bio had spent millions of dollars of cocaine cash from his Dutch son-in-law Jos Leijdekker, Europe’s most wanted drug fugitive, to bribe and corrupt key stakeholders in ECOWAS ostensibly to dither Sierra Leone’s democracy, thereby exacerbating citizens’ untold suffering. Equally, Bio shrewdly manipulated the former ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan KC. This situation not only led to the procrastination of Bio’s indictment for crimes against humanity but has also dented the good image of Mr Karim Khan in the eyes of the suffering Sierra Leoneans.
The delay in indicting Bio raised eyebrows in Sierra Leone communities as to why Bio should be different from the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s indictment by the ICC under Khan, despite the many pictorial, audio, and video pieces of evidence presented by Sierra Leone petitioners.
Further investigation into Karim Khan’s relationship with Maada Bio’s illegal SLPP regime makes grim reading. Allegations of highly placed bribery and corruption involving Karim Khan are rife in Sierra Leone communities inside and outside the country.
The recently dismissed ICC Chief Prosecutor, Khan KC, is alleged to have received a 1.5 million dollar bribe in three instalments from the SLPP drug chief Vice President, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh. The alleged bribery scandal is believed to be the motivation for Karim Khan to turn a blind eye to Bio’s indictment. (Photo: New ECOWAS Chair President Faye in Lungi with Bio).

But today Bio is in serious trouble that will see the end of his iron grip on power disappear into thin air, despite using cocaine cash to bribe and corrupt key stakeholders. Within days, double trouble hits Bio and his APC traitors hard for losing the ECOWAS chair, and Karim Khan was dismissed from the ICC.
First, Bio was overwhelmingly rejected by the ECOWAS Commission on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in Lungi, where ECOWAS leaders voted him out of the ECOWAS chair to be replaced by the no-nonsense and democratically elected Senegal President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
A few days later, news emerged that the ICC Chief Prosecutor, Karim Khan KC, had been sacked for alleged sexual harassment of a colleague worker. British-born Mr Khan has denied this charge. However, his dismissal is bad news for Bio but great news for Sierra Leoneans yearning for justice.
Moreover, it is important to note that the dismissal of Karim Khan KC will not stop the ICC in The Hague from pursuing the petitions presented by various Sierra Leone groups. The following judicial review by patriotic Sierra Leone lawyer Karifa explains it in a nutshell. (Photos: New ECOWAS President General Ebrime Diop and former President Dr Touray).

No Need to Worry, We are Still on Track!
At the ICC, prosecutions belong to the Office of the Prosecutor (OTP), not to an individual prosecutor. If Karim Khan is dismissed, other OTP prosecutors will continue handling investigations and litigation while a successor is appointed. Here’s what happens at each stage:
- Investigations: Continue unless the OTP decides to close them because of insufficient evidence, lack of jurisdiction, or other legal grounds.
- Arrest warrant applications: Remain before the judges, even if a different prosecutor takes over.
- Existing arrest warrants: Stay valid because ICC judges, not the Prosecutor, issue them.
4. Once the judges have confirmed the charges, the prosecution proceeds regardless of who is serving as Prosecutor. Another member of the OTP can continue the case through trial and any subsequent appeals.
