Rather than cancel his useless travels to Lebanon en route to London by showing leadership and empathy and sympathy with those who lost their lives in the two accidents in Shenge Kaboro and at the Shell Company seven-storey building, Maada Bio decided to snub the victims to travel abroad. It was a clear show of incompetence and the lack of care for the people of Sierra Leone which has been the hallmark of Maada Bio’s negative characteristics. In reality, Maada Bio has ulterior motives for bloodletting. Like Draculas, the illegal President Maada Bio lives on human bloodletting to survive. Dracula Bio requires no other sustenance but fresh human blood which often rejuvenates him. Bio’s reliance on black magic has escalated since April 4, 2018 when he came to power and the number of extrajudicial killings of innocent citizens coupled with the shocking occurrence of accidents has spilled more innocent blood for his ritual sacrifices than anytime in Sierra Leone’s bleak history.

Hundreds of Sierra Leoneans have paid the ultimate price in feeding Dracula Bio at the Presidential Lodge in Freetown fully supported by his mob justice wife Fatima Jabbe Bio. The latest victims are those who have perished in the Shenge Kaboro boat accident and the Shell Company 7-Storey-House accident on Monday, September 16, 2024. Maada Bio’s ritual sacrifices for power supersede everything the SLPP leader had craved for and continues to crave for.

On that fateful day, Maada Bio secretly jetted to Lebanon with the nation’s loots en route to London while nearly 75 people laid dead in Shenge and in Freetown. The gruesome boat accident in Shenge Kaboro claimed over 50 lives who drowned after the boat they were travelling in capsized. Hours later on the same terrible day, nearly 25 people also lost their lives when the poorly built seven-storey building situated at Shell Company in the east of Freetown collapsed. The dead at Shell accident reportedly included six children. It was a pathetic day for the families in Shenge and in Freetown. While families were grieving and people still underneath the rubble Maada Bio and his wife Fatima were enjoying wine and food airborne towards Lebanon reportedly smuggling the country’s minerals and colossal sums of money in foreign currencies stolen from the Central Bank. As a diversion to mislead the people, Fatima Jabbe willfully lied on her tweet that they were going to London.

It was a big lie by Fatima Bio who was exposed by the vigilance of the APC Council of Media Bloggers. In their expensive chartered plane, they flew to Lebanon from Freetown in an apparent attempt to hide their priceless loots leaving the people in more misery and poverty. And having realised that their days at State House are numbered thanks to the Tripartite Committee outcome and the imminent arrival of the ECOWAS Forces to restore constitutional rule, the Bios are now desperate to look for a safe-haven after life at the presidency and they consider Lebanon as best location to hide their loots.

The Shenge boat accident was horrible. In his audio, Save Democracy CEO Malakai broke the bad news. He narrated: “I am crying in my heart for bad things happening in our country. I don’t have power. Our people are suffering. The last time, I asked God to lessen our pains. When Sierra Leoneans lost their lives, I have to show signs of sympathy. We lost our brothers and sisters in the Shenge Kaboro Chiefdom, Moyamba District. Today, Sierra Leone has a satanic and undemocratic leader in Maada Bio who does not care for his people and that is why all kinds of accidents are happening.

“All kinds of bad things, all kinds of calamities are happening. When I saw a video showing a soldier at the Shenge boat accident scene telling the people to join him to look for the passengers who had drowned and their properties, it shocked me. The soldier never protected the people when they were alive; it was when they were dead that he wanted to protect them? When you have a government that does not protect you, this is the government led by Maada Bio. We have marine soldiers, we have authorities and unions at sea but all of them are only concerned about money. (Photo: The Bios snubbed the victims and went on holiday).

“Even when the boat was overloaded, they do not care as long as they have been given their bookings, they would allow the passengers to board. If Maada Bio has failed his own responsibilities what about those working under him? I heard on the video that the boat loaded over 50 people! Just imagine Sierra Leoneans! The boat that capsized in Shenge Kaboro area in Kaboro Chiefdom between Kata and Tombo was carrying over 50 people with luggage! Why should they allow 50 people onboard? Why?

“These people were forced on the boat because Maada Bio failed to construct the roads in his own birthplace. Go and check the Shenge Road, how deplorable it is. Look at the Mattru Jong Road, how it is deteriorating. So if the people decided to join the boat to cross and do their businesses for their livelihoods they believe they could return home by boat quickly. But if they join vehicles from Shenge to Moyamba, believe me they would sleep on the way. If you went to buy four cups of rice to feed your family, would you be able? The answer is no,” CEO Malakai concludes.

50 passengers onboard the boat capsized in the river. Reports say none of the people were rescued. As for the 7-storey building that collapsed at the Shell Company area in Freetown many casualties were reported including children. Eyewitnesses say the building suddenly went down falling on shops underneath the building, killing over 20 people. The two accidents happened few hours apart on the same day with disastrous consequences. In any spheres of life, coincidences happen but when coincidences persist, there is a cause for concern.

Maada Bio is known for leaving the country anytime there are disasters ranging from mudslide to poorly built houses collapsing with fatalities. He has no sympathy or care for the people. All Bio is interested in is human sacrifices, ritualistic and juju to prop up his power base. He left the country a few hours after the Shell and Shenge accidents occurred. As for his incompetent Ministry of Housing and Country Planning where bribery and corruption dictate the work, they too have blood on their hands for poor civil engineering.
