Aki-Sawyerr is Unfit for the Forbes 50 Most Sustainable Leaders Honour; She is an Avid Supporter of Electoral Thief Bio

One visible handicap of the Freetown Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr is her inability to sustain democratic principles in her own country Sierra Leone.
Aki-Sawyerr is an anti-democrat considering her dubious role in undermining Tripartite and the electorates in Sierra Leone. It is therefore ironic that Forbes, an internationally acclaimed and revered institution, could name the Freetown City Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr among the Forbes List of 50 Sustainable Leaders! Our foot! Aki does not deserve any accolade this year following her destructive pathway to derail the democracy of Sierra Leoneans who overwhelmingly voted for her last year. (Photo: Aki-Sawyerr is a supporter of killers in Sierra Leone).
Aki’s second coming as mayor is because of the massive votes the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara received, which automatically filtered down to her mayoral success. Today, the anti-democrat Aki has become an enemy of the peoples’ choice, Dr Samura Kamara. She is an eyesore as far as the electorates are concerned because her recent negative behaviour which involves her odd association with the illegal President Maada Bio who woefully stole the June 24, 2023 elections is yet to be recognised internationally because of his electoral thievery in broad daylight.
It is this electoral thief called Maada Bio who is being wholeheartedly supported by Aki-Sawyerr against the voters’ wishes. Over and above all of Aki’s negativism is the painful fact that Aki-Sawyerr has colluded with the traitors in the APC party i.e. APC Executives and other top officials to continue to undermine democracy and the Tripartite process – the brainchild of Dr Samura Kamara – which the international community are totally in support of as the yardstick to usher constitutional rule in Sierra Leone. Aki has damaged her once respectable reputation for diverting to selfish aggrandisement. (Photo: Aki is glowing on the global scene but back home the voters hate her).

In a nutshell, Aki-Sawyerr is not the goodies that the global partners think she is. She is no longer admired by most Sierra Leone voters who dub her as a traitor. Any association with a discredited individual like the fake Freetown Mayor Aki-Sawyerr by a respectable institution like Forbes is wrong. Besides, Aki is piously propagating for the prolongation of the human rights violator in the person of the illegal President Maada Bio. Frankly, if Aki is honoured by Forbes, it would be an enormous blunder and a disgrace to humanity and decency.
A brief press statement states: “This list highlights individuals from various fields, including entrepreneurship, science, philanthropy, politics, and activism, who are making significant contributions to combating the global climate crises. The Forbes list honours leaders who drive tangible and impactful changes in the fight against climate change. Aki-Sawyerr’s inclusion underscores her commitment to sustainability through projects like the #FreetownTheTreetown initiative, which aims to plant one million trees to combat deforestation and urban heat, among other efforts aimed at improving environmental resilience in the city.”
In response to this recognition, Aki-Sawyerr expressed her gratitude on social media, stating, “I am truly honoured to be named in Forbes’ inaugural list of 50 Sustainability Leaders!” She added that collective efforts are behind her achievements, thanking her colleagues both in Sierra Leone and internationally and the residents of Freetown for their collaboration in developing and executing climate action initiatives.
