2 Heroes of Sierra Leone Messrs Thomas Babadi, Maddie Williams are Freed After Bio’s Kidnappers were Pressurised to Behave

Quick Summary

There was huge sigh of relief last night when news broke out that the SLPP/Paopa kidnappers had released the protest heroes of Sierra Leone.

Mr Thomas Babadi and Mr Maddie Williams were kidnapped recently by the unprofessional SLPP Police Chief William Fayia Sellu after the two Civil Society Organisation leaders were tricked into a bogus meeting at the Police Headquarters on George Street in Freetown. (Photo: Freedom fighters Mr Maddie Williams, left, and Mr Thomas Babadi, right).

The two gallant soldiers went there on the premise of discussing the historic December 10, 2024 peaceful protest scheduled against the corrupt commissioners of the SLPP Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone, ECSL, led by the crook of the year Mohamed Konneh.

After the meeting, the two gladiators transmitted the conclusion of the meeting to their colleagues. Minutes later, they were recalled into the police headquarters and right there they were kidnapped on the ‘Orders from Above’ Bio nonsense.

Babadi and Maddie’s freedom were curtailed unnecessarily simply because they were merely asking the corrupt ECSL for the disaggregated elections data that dubiously declared the illegal President Bio as the winner of last year’s elections.

That request and the planned December 10 peaceful protest angered the Bio presidency so much that they believe such situations would expose Maada Bio’s lies that Sierra Leone is peaceful and that the people have accepted his second term in office. It backfired on Bio.

While in detention, the brave and patriotic Sierra Leone voters came out on December 10 to the clarion call of Mr Babadi and Mr Williams to demand the ECSL to produce the data. It was a successful protest, and the message went viral. Welcome to freedom, true patriots.

I am pleased to inform you all that our courageous civil society activists, Thomas Babadi and Wakhadi Williams, have been released. Heartfelt thanks to our dedicated and capable lawyers, as well as all the front-liners tirelessly working toward the restoration of democracy. Together, we are stronger! We will keep pushing for the unconstitutional release of the rest of protesters. TOGETHER WE WILL LIBERATE SIERRA LEONE FROM TYRANNY.

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
