Very recently, precisely on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the people of Sierra Leone, especially the disbelievers, were stunned to hear the speech by the United Nations UNOWAS representative, Mr Julius Bekong Njingeng, at the SLAM/Global Zoom conference.

Mr Bekong Njinkeng, from the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel UNOWAS head office in Senegal, touched on the imperativeness and non-negotiability of the 85 tripartite recommendations for the implementation process in Sierra Leone.

A week later, the vibrations from the SLAM/Global virtual mini-conference are still reverberating in the country and in the Diaspora. Without a doubt, the Zoom meeting was the second vital opportunity that gave confidence to Sierra Leoneans regarding the success of EJ.

The first opportunity that gave the June 24, 2023, voters the belief that Electoral Justice EJ and political transition will materialise took place at the Irish Embassy in Freetown, where moral guarantors held a press conference on August 30, 2025, to unveil the bombshell.

What was the bombshell? Simply put, the foreign diplomats, in the presence of SLPP and APC officials and the press, disclosed that their tripartite investigations have proved that the incumbent Maada Bio does not have an election result to prove his victory.

During the Irish Embassy meeting a few weeks ago, it was made clear that the main challenger, Dr Samura Kamara, the leader of the APC party, has his own results thanks to the RRF’s forms produced at the Tripartite Committee investigations to authenticate his 57.15% victory.

The SLPP media present at the Irish Embassy were ridiculed when they were told Maada Bio did not produce results, and since that historic Irish Embassy meeting, when the moral guarantors made it clear, the silence of the disbelievers has been deafening.

But today, despite the SLAM/Global Zoom difference, the UNOWAS representative placed the ice on the champagne, there are still doubting Thomases (educated fools, of course, in the diaspora especially) who do not believe an iota in the progress of EJ.

However, their cynicisms do not matter for the staunch believers of the political transition, as both the meetings at the Irish Embassy and the SLAM Global virtual confab have given massive optimism to most Sierra Leoneans. But Bio and his caboodle are worried.

As for the people who doubt the success of EJ should jump into the sea and drown; who cares? No hesitation in stating this fact. The inevitable implementation of the five tripartite recommendations (the most important of the 85) cannot be disputed.

This statement is a confidence-boosting medicine to finally assure and energise the belief of the majority of Sierra Leoneans that electoral justice and the political transition are unstoppable. No person or institution can reverse this moving train destined for paradise.
