ECOWAS Army Chiefs Officially Activate ECOMOG Deployment Starting in Sept; Voters Ready to Celebrate for Electoral Justice

Quick Summary

The formal meeting in Abuja where Heads of the Armed Forces of ECOWAS nations convened for two days for fragile Sierra Leone has concluded successfully. During the historic meeting summoned in Abuja, the Army Chiefs of Defence Staff officially agreed to deploy stabilisation military forces in Sierra Leone in the apparent attempt to provide a two-pronged security strategy in Sierra Leone and in the sub-region. Reports say the first batch of ECOMOG troops are expected in Sierra Leone in mid-September and the full deployment is scheduled for the end of September. Reliable sources say the peacekeeping forces’ primary ambition is to monitor and oversee the full implementation of Electoral Justice in Sierra Leone following the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections. The other two-pronged strategy is for ECOMOG forces to curb acute problems in the West African sub-region. The 5000 strong expected ECOMOG soldiers already assembled through contributions made by various ECOWAS member states and are slated to station in the ECOMOG depot in Lungi near the capital Freetown. It was a two-day meeting between August 7 to August 8 in Nigeria where Army Chiefs in some West African countries convened to discuss security issues and the way out.

On the 42nd Ordinary Meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff of ECOWAS member states two of the issues discussed was about the fragile Sierra Leone situation. The adoption of an ECOWAS Support Mission in Sierra Leone and the development of the ECOWAS logistics depot in Lungi updated.

The presence of the Army bosses was for two main issues. As already stated, they considered and adopted the plan for the ECOWA5 security Support Mission in Sierra Leone and also updated on the activation of the ECOWAS Standby Force to combat Terrorism among other pressing security issues in the sub-region. The Development of the ECOWAS logistics depot in Lungi and the rotation of staff officers of the ECOWAS Peace Support Operations Division and the ECOWAS Standby Forces discussed and endorsed.

The long awaited ECOMOG arrival will materialised soon. Sources say the first batch will land in Freetown in the middle of September and the full force expected to arrive at the end of September. The good news from Nigeria filtered through to Sierra Leone as social media was awash with the facts and pictures of the Chiefs of Staff meeting making the suffering electorates even more hopeful than at last Electoral Justice shall happen in Sierra Leone. The Bio slaves are however in despair because they expect ECOWAS to encourage electoral thievery.

But with the United Nations Security Council very keen on restoring constitutional rule in Sierra Leone, it was no surprise that ECOWAS and the African Union are determined to implement the instructions from the Security Council. The doubting Sidis, the doubting Minkailus, the doubting Chericocos and their blind Vuvuzelas in the media should hang their tiny heads in shame for supporting the illegal President Maada Bio to prolong his stay in power.

From Abuja to Sierra Leone, it is now clear that ECOWAS has re-ignited the flame of Electoral Justice making it alive and kicking. ECOWAS Chiefs of Defence Staff meeting reportedly ended successfully as ECOMOG peacekeepers are in readiness mid-September and hopefully by the next month ending, the complete troops will land. Reports say Maada Bio is shuttling pariah states like Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali for military assistance without the approval of ECOWAS countries because of the ousting of democratic governments in the three suspended nations.

The ECOMOG depot in Lungi will host the full ECOMOG troops in September. The ECOMOG depot in Lungi near the international airport in Freetown where the necessary logistics would be stationed and where the 5000  strong ECOMOG peacekeepers will assemble. Reports say, other ECOWAS Support Missions will be in Freetown and other bases namely Kerry Town in the western area. Sierra Leoneans are patiently waiting for ECOMOG arrival to see Electoral Justice achieved, propelled firmly by the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara.

ECOMOG Reconnaissance team comprising army personnel have been sent ahead in Sierra Leone months ago. So, technically, ECOMOG soldiers have been in Sierra Leone in Lungi to be precise since last year. Their base in Lungi close to the Lungi International Airport has been active for many months. People still remember the US Air Force One jumbo jet that landed at Lungi Airport some months ago. They are called reconnaissance team sent covertly for feasibility studies and to study the terrain around the city and the country.

The suffering electorates in Sierra Leone should be rest assured that democracy will be restored soon in the country. Already the global partners have put together 2.5 billion United States dollars for ECOMOG expenditure. This month, the people of Sierra Leone should expect major development. Already, the contributions of soldiers from ECOWAS member states have progressed according to schedule and sources say it is almost complete in readiness for full deployment. Good riddance to Electoral Justice.

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
