A Mystery Plane Landed at Lungi Airport; Four Crew Arrested for Drugs; Bio Family are Behind the Drugs Cartel Business

Sierra Leoneans are still flabbergasted following the mysterious appearance of an aircraft landing suddenly at the Lungi International Airport.
Where did it come from? It is the question being asked. The mystery plane landed on Thursday September 19, 2024 around 11.54 pm carrying four crew members and millions of dollars of illegal drugs discovered on the aircraft. The sudden landing of the plane has left the airport staff completely baffled according to report from Lungi Airport in Freetown. (Photo: The impounded plane).
Sources say the four crew members were immediately apprehended and are presently detained while investigations are being conducted. Airport authorities could not ascertain the contents on the flight amid reliable information that high-class dangerous drugs worth millions of dollars were found on the plane.
The arrest of the crew raised eyebrows because if it was an emergency landing, there would have been no need for the arrest of the four crew members. And from the information gathered, the plane did not land because of emergency reasons which further exacerbate the rife-speculation that the mystery plane contained dangerous cargo.
Even the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority SLCAA released a brief press statement dated September 30, 2024 signed by the Director General. It reads thus: “Unauthorised Landing of an Aircraft at 11.54 pm on the 19th September 2024 a private non-scheduled aircraft, without an approved landing permit. (Photo: Maada and his Vice President Juldeh Jalloh are in the drugs cartel).

“The said aircraft has been impounded by the State Security forces and all four persons on board are currently in police custody. The Director General of SLCAA inspectors from the Directorate of Flight Safety Standards and Aviation Security were on site to assist in the initial interrogation of all onboard the aircraft.
“Investigations are still ongoing and the public will be updated on the outcome. The Sierra Leone Civil Airport Authority wishes to assure the public of its commitment to the safety and security of Civil Aviation in Sierra Leone,” the SCLAA concludes. This government press statement has scanty information but investigations have revealed startling revelations.
According to one of Sierra Leone’s leading social media activists Gibril Bangura based in America, the mystery plane came from nowhere and landed at the Lungi International Airport. In his latest audio, Gibril Bangura confirmed that the aircraft contained illegal drugs which he linked to the Maada Bio family who are noted for drugs businesses in the country.
Gibril’s audio revealed that the aircraft was monitored all the way from Barbados before it suddenly landed in Freetown. Sierra Leone is today totally destroyed because of Maada Bio’s bad governance. Bio continues to lie that his SLPP regime came to 2018 to clean the image of Sierra Leone. But in recent years, the so-called rebranding has been a farce full of deception. Incredible that the plane could come from nowhere to land in Freetown! (Photo: Police Chief William Fayia Sellu is part of the drugs cartel).

It is obvious that Sierra Leone has become a drug hub in West Africa. The air, land and sea entry points are no longer safe because they are all manned by members of the Bio family and close associates. Bio’s sister Admire Bio is the Kush and Tramadol Queen in Sierra Leone who has become rich by selling dangerous drugs with the knowledge of police chiefs. Bio’s brothers James and Yankuba are directors at Road Authority and Water Quay, respectively.
It was during the tenure of Police Chief Ambrose Sovulla that a mystery container containing illegal drugs arrived at the port but it magically turned out to be cigarettes after the corrupt police had intervened and changed the items. Dangerous drugs have actually damaged the lives of hundreds of young men and women in the country while the Bio family are reaping millions of dollars of benefits from the deaths of innocent citizens.
On Thursday, the mystery plane that appeared at Lungi Airport has more questions than answers. Why did the plane land without telling the Traffic Controller? Has Interpol intervened? This is an international crime committed by the Bio family. The landing was not an emergence landing, otherwise, the crew members would not have been arrested for interrogation. Emergency landings do not need landing permit. All the pilots need to do is to communicate with the Traffic Controller. Investigations continue.
